We were upgraded to a superior hot tub room in building 0 which was one of the recently renovated rooms. Big, bright, comfortable with a lovely view of the black beach. Lovely to fall asleep listening to the crashing waves. The property has great potential with its location. However, it is one of the older resorts on Tahiti and is showing its age. The facilities are in need of a refresh for sure. That being said, it was a nice place to spend a couple of days before heading to Moorea. If you are looking for a high end 5 star experience, stay at the Hilton or Intercontinental. If you are looking for a decent place to comfortably spend a couple of days and experience a beautiful black sand beach, you’ll be happy here.

We stay in the Kava, you are just up the reception/laundry with a view of reception roof (metal tile roof) you feel more on a favela than a hotel, the bungalow do not have any curtain, the terrasse it's 80% of the bungalow ...
