"This is a very old fishing bed and breakfast. We slept in the suite with a king bed and that was very comfortable with our own bathroom. The breakfast was very good. Coffee was excellent. Water is very good(well water). Very low key place. Great place a couple of blocks away for food and beer. Terri was very nice who help prepare breakfast. The other guest were very friendly."

"The place was immaculate we worked hard to make sure it was left as it was found. Listening to the water was so peaceful the beds were comfortable and the property is well kept. Really don’t have any complaints the only thing I did not care for is being asked to take trash with us. I don’t like putting bags of trash in my vehicle I would have gladly left the cost for the disposal of my two bags of trash but aside from that minor inconvenience the stay was perfect."

"Would not recommend staying here in the summer. I knew there was no air conditioning in the listing but thought being on the lake, at night, with the windows open, it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is, the bedroom windows were sealed shut, and it was 78-80 degrees in the house even with the patio doors open. I politely asked the owners if they could turn the air on (there are units) and the reply was a sarcastic response about how I didn't read the listing. Speaking of the listing, the photos are deceptive. The lake looks more like a swamp right now, and the photos conveniently left out all the deer and antlers on the walls. Also, 4 towels for three people for four nights was inconvenient. The listing says one of the bedrooms had two queens, which isn't the case.Over all, good price but didn't know we'd be sweltering all night without the windows opening."

"The property is beautiful and very serene. Love the country atmosphere and the chickens add a country flair as well. The home is equipped with everything you need and also plenty of outlets and adaptors. Very clean. Air conditioning is nice. There is a little store about 5-7 minutes away. Host was available with answers to questions if you need them answered. We would definitely consider staying again. We had a family reunion for the weekend and it was just around the corner from the home so that was ideal."
