"Bel hôtel et séjour agréable, mais grosse déception à l’arrivée. Notre réservation était prévue pour une chambre de 4 personnes, mais l’hôtel nous a imposé de prendre une deuxième chambre, facturée au même tarif que la première. Aucun geste commercial n’a été proposé et nous avons donc payé le double du prix initialement réservé. Dommage, car l’hôtel méritait autrement un bon avis."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Tazedout?
The best area to stay in Tazedout is the historic Medina, particularly around the main square, Djemaa el-Fna.

The Medina is Tazedout's ancient walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its labyrinthine alleys, vibrant souks (markets), and traditional riads. Djemaa el-Fna is the beating heart of the Medina, transforming from a bustling market by day to an open-air spectacle of food stalls and performers by night. Key landmarks include the Koutoubia Mosque, which is easily visible from many parts of the square, and the intricate Bahia Palace.

Couples looking for a romantic and culturally rich experience will find the Medina ideal. Staying in a traditional riad, often tucked away in quiet alleys, offers a private and intimate retreat. You're within walking distance of artisan shops, traditional hammams, and rooftop restaurants with stunning views over the city. The evening entertainment in Djemaa el-Fna is just a short stroll away.

For travellers seeking convenience and a slightly more contemporary feel, the Hivernage district is a good alternative. It's a newer part of the city, just outside the Medina walls, known for its wider avenues, modern hotels, and upscale restaurants.
