Bed and Breakfast in Taza-Hoceima-Taounate

"This was a good stay for the price. The interiors were beautiful and breakfast on the roof is lovely but a little slow. The beds were a little hard and rooms were bright and loud at night since they face the main entry. We were also put off that we were warned by guides multiple times prior to even arriving that we may be offered a ‘free’ tour and asks us to cancel already booked ones which could be a scam. We were offered a free tour which we declined as we already had other tours booked. The hotel also offered to arrange transport to the airport. The location was about 10 minute walk to a the main parts. The spa prices seemed a lot higher than what we paid in Marrakesh so we did not try the spa. Overall, good for price but did not exceed expectations "

"If I could, I would give more than 5 stars for this breathtaking riad in the old city Fes. If you are a frequent traveler, you probably have have experienced the catfish aspect of a property posting it's unrealistically beautiful pictures on these platforms. Riad Mazar Fes is the exception. Pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this exceptionally build and meticulously maintained riad. And that is not the best thing about it. For starters, it's people tops the charts. Owner of the place Mr. Khaled treated us like family. He gave us time and attention, giving us a background of the place he build from ruins to a palace like riad. Being an arts and antiquities collector shows in his attention to detail here. He selected a wonderful staff too. Omar at the front desk couldn't be any nicer. He was willing to go above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Having stayed in a riad before, I was afraid that our room would be another old and uncomfortable space. It was surprisingly very modern and had all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. Daily clean towels and sheets, clean bathroom, fridge, TV, A/C, hairdryer, you name it, it has it. I can name a few top name hotel chains that are not as clean and comfortable as the room we had. Location is a walking distance to all attractions in Fes including the market, tanneries and historic sites, at thhe same time avoiding the noise and insccesiblity. You can park your car right in front of the property. I highly recommend it."

"Located just outside the bustling medina, Riad Le Toyour is a true oasis of calm and beauty. The interior courtyard and rooftop are filled with lovingly maintained plants and flowers, with birds all around. It really feels like a little Garden of Eden. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and beautifully furnished, with thoughtful personal touches that made it feel both elegant and welcoming. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. We were especially impressed by Idris, the riad manager, who went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure every detail of our stay was just right. We felt less like hotel guests and more like visitors in someone’s home. We would absolutely recommend Riad Le Toyour to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Fes. We would gladly return!"
