Macree Pod in Taynuilt
Welcome to Macree Pod, a secluded Pod overlooking Loch Etive in rural Glen Lonan, surrounded by stunning unspoilt natural beauty. Excellent for outdoor pursuits including hiking, cycling and fishing.
Macree Pod is a custom built, open plan pod and incudes a comfortable double bed, spacious en-suite shower room, smart TV, integrated Bluetooth speaker system, sofa and cooking facilities. There is a boot box and outdoor clothes hanging available.
Outdoor seating is provided to allow guests to enjoy the relaxing environment and spectacular views.
Taynuilt village and all its amenities are only a short walk away. Within the village you will find restaurants, pubs, grocery store and pharmacy. The train station where you will be able to get regular trains to Oban and Glasgow is only a 5 minute drive away.
Please note, we don`t accept children or infants in this pod.

Macree Pod
The pod was small but comfortable. It was a little crowded with our luggage and it would have been nice to be able to push our luggage under the bed when not in use. The host provided a french press and coffee and sugar. No salt and pepper or cooking oils were provided if you are planning on cooking any meals. The curtains over the door/windows are quite sheer and allow a lot of light in, so we weren't able to sleep in as long as we wanted. However, the view and location were really lovely. It was an easy drive to Oban for dinner in the evening. It was really easy to access the place and parking was private and close by. The ramp made it easy to get heavy luggage to the front door.
