Beautiful Location

Amazing location, just as described! Incredible views from the comfortable cabin and everything we needed. Including excellent WiFi which was a must for us with a child with special needs. Walks into the forest straight from your door and facilities such as a shop/cafe and restaurant within a short walking distance. Can highly recommend the Kilchrenan inn as well, a short drive away for a special meal. Great food and kid friendly. We miss waking up to the Loch on our doorstep, made for a lovely relaxing break. We will be back!

Spectacular views in rustic cabin

Spectacular views of Loch Awe from living room windows. Great jumping off point for exploring the Western Highlands and Islands. Wild Rowan Cafe within walking distance in village very welcoming and offering tasty food choices. Cabin itself very small and more rustic compared to price point. Surprised to discover cabin was located in a campground and cabin complex, not a remote isolated getaway residence. Towels unavailable and difficult to obtain. Guests responsible for disposing any garbage accumulated at communal site. Overall, great cabin-like experience but not commensurate with price point!
