Romantic getaway! With gorgeous views from the Hot Tub!

This unit has two bedrooms, with the first bedroom having a queen size bed with a futon bunkbed for extra sleeping room. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a couch that makes into a twin bed for extra sleeping. The living room has a full couch with love seat couch, 55in TV with dish cable. The kitchenette has a size refrigerator, microwave and coffee serving station. Toaster/ convection oven, croak pot, all dish-ware included. counter with seating to accommodate up to 6 guests. The bathroom is full bath with tub and shower combo. The property has plenty of closet space for hanging clothes. Laundry is also available. The spacious walk out patio, has a fire pit, gas grill, patio seating and plenty of space to relax and hang out. Walk up the sidewalk to the Hot tub Dome for relaxing after rock climbing at the interstate parks or biking, hiking on the miles of trails. For the snow enthusiast after a long day skiing, snowboarding, tubing or snowmobiling, whatever your pleasure its sure to please. The unit is in the same house of the owner. It is completely separate from the owners living space. With own parking, entrance. The hottub is exclusively for the unit space. In the summer I also offer pontoon rental on one of the biggest chain of lakes in the area. The rental cost and info in provided in the rental lease section. The pontoon has two couch lounge seating and 4 fishing captain seats. Two wells for fish. The 2019 ranger Reaita comes with depth fish finder, stereo and table for dining. Tube for pulling is also available.

Lovely place to stay

This was a lovely spot to stay, clean, quiet and beautiful. The grounds look out at woods and prairie. The inside is clean and cute. Plus, a hot tub! Mary Jo is so kind and helpful. Make sure you know it’s a kitchenette not a full kitchen, but it is well stocked and worked for our needs. I would definitely come back!

Great location for Taylors Falls

We came to hike and attend a wine event, catching up with a friend. The location was good - to the parks and winery. The parking was a little tricky, as parking was limited and turning around space was limited. Backing out was not a great option. Kitchen was more limited than what we thought, no sink. It was quiet and well decorated, owners were good communicators and the hot tub was nice after a long hike. Bedrooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. Good spot for the Taylors Falls activities.

Beautiful place!

Beds very comfortable. Very clean. Spacious. Bathroom was great. Super confused how to use hot tub, never asked and didn't really have time, seems like one needed to ask permission as it was locked up. Paper work left out looked like an additional fee was needed, no sure, but again didn't ask. Really a wonderful place and met our needs very well. Owner very nice.

A comfortable, private apartment close to Taylors Falls

I'm always a little hesitant to book Vrbo's that are part of the host's home for fear of awkward interactions, but this apartment feels very private - it has its own entryway around the back of the house and you get the entire bottom floor of the house to yourself. There is a private patio area for the guest apartment with a fire pit and lovely landscaping, as well as an enclosed hot tub. It was clean, comfortable and spacious, and on the rare occasions we did run into MaryJo in the driveway she was very friendly and respectful. She also responded quickly to questions via the app and was generally a great host. Wonderful place to stay while visiting the beautiful Taylors Falls/St. Croix Falls area!

Girls weekend

We had a great time, lots of laugh, the last day we looked for a toaster for our bagels, we could not find. So we packed everything up and did one last sweep and open a closet and found the toaster oven. We laughed so hard. We did not use the hot tub but looked like fun. Glad i read the reviews so knew no sink or stove as we had to rethink our food.

Great long weekend location

This was a great location for a long girls weekend. Really nice space outdoors to enjoy and 2 comfortable beds with comfortable living space to relax in. (If you need to have adults sleep on the pull out/futon or bunk beds it may not be as comfy for bad backs ect- but the space is there if you need it) Really easy access and the long sloped sidewalk down to the unit made it easy to bring in luggage on wheels. Host was great and responsive. Just keep in mind there is no sink in the kitchenette and if you plan to make any food it needs to be microwave/toaster oven, crockpot only as there is no stove. Totally doable for packing picnic lunches and snacks for your daily excursions & plan accordingly. It was a great space we would stay at again if in there area. Very easy check out process.

a few miles from town

Clean, spacious, lot of towels, nicely decorated and thoughtful extras (candy dish and winery passes). This is the walk-out basement with owners upstairs. Could occasionally hear foot steps above, so maybe not so "romantic". Hot tub worked fine. Also, be aware there is no sink in kitchenette area. I think it does say this, but if you try to cook or grill, it's a little inconvenient to run to bathroom for water and dishes. Just plan ahead. We grilled steaks, enjoyed the fire pit, and thought this was an overall good value and location to the state parks.

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Taylors Falls. We arrived and everything was as expected and was even pleasantly surprised with the little touches Maryjo left out. There was a nice binder with instructions and activities to welcome us, and even a little candy tray. These touches were great. Parking was a little challenging as there was a camper parked on the pavement. I didn't want to block anyone in and it was tight. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star was we were notified the hot tub was broken. I have asked for a refund 3 times for the hot tub fee, and have not gotten a response from the owner. A little disappointing, but overall a fantastic stay.
