The location of this resort is perfect. Great views of the bay. Easy walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. We ate at the restaurant for dinner the first night and the food was very good. We chose to sit out on the covered deck and it was very peaceful but, the breeze cooled our food quickly. We will probably sit indoors next time.

I have stayed there twice in the last year. The rooms are clean and well-appointed with nice furniture and big-screen tv. The halls are wide, clean and well-lit. The lobby is clean and inviting. The beach on the lakefront is well-maintained and big enough for families with kids to have plenty of fun. It is only a block from downtown East Tawas shops and restaurants, and there is a reasonable restaurant on site.

Rooms are very dated. Need to be remodeled. Stains on the ceiling, old decor. The beach and the beach bar are great. More lounge chairs are needed. Some are broken. Close to downtown, which was a plus.

Not the fanciest resort we've ever stayed at, but it comfortable and met our expectations. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The resort staff was excellent and very helpful. Everyone on the staff that we came into contact was very kind and ready to help. We liked that the resort was close to the downtown and easy walking distant to restaurants and shopping. We'll likely book the resort again next year.

My Husband and I go every year and it never disappoints us. Staff are always warm and Friendly as soon as walk in. The Rooms are Clean fresh sheets and towels. The Tiki Bar on the Beach is my Favorite we grab our drinks and head down to the water to take in the sun and water. We had a city view this time and were woken up at 2;30 am by a loud train and shaking room only downfall( haha ) I prefer the lake view better :D but over all it was amazing and we will continue to go back every year !! There is a bar/ restaurant down the road ( walking Distance ) called Barnacle Bill's highly recommend love the food there and the staff. see you next year my friends :D

Rooms were ok...Not great for the price you pay. The beach was nice but would be better if it was just for the hotel guests that pay to stay there and not open to public. Would not recommend the restaurant. Very overpriced and not very good. It took FOREVER to get our food and my chicken was undercooked and my husband had the beef tips and they were so tough and flavorless and such a tiny portion for the price we paid.

Location was great, right downtown on the beach. Property is dated but room was clean and updated. Fitness room is useless, no weights at all just a bike and elliptical. Couldn't get a workout in. However they have a couple different bars if you're in to that. Price was okay. Disappointed in lack of amenities, doesn't cost that much to add a set of dumbbells and a bench or two. Saying you have a fitness center is a stretch.
