Cozy Country Home 4 Blocks From the Lake

Our beautifully renovated cozy country home sleeps 7 comfortably. The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom have a queen size bed. The third bedroom has bunk beds, twin over double. Our gourmet kitchen has all wood cabinets with gran.ite counter tops, travertine brick backsplash and stainless steel appliances. It is equipped with everything you need to whip up anything from a quick breakfast to dinner for the family. The large dining room table seats 8 .There is a front porch for sittin' and a big back yard for chillin' or grillin'. We have plenty of off street parking for your boat and trailer...or if you want to park those Harley's behind the fence.

Sunnyland Antique Boat show

This location was perfect for our first visit to Tavares and the Sunnyland Antique Boat show. The cottage was as described and very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this home was absolutely perfect for our family. As a family of five, we often find hotels a bit limiting, so having a clean, spacious, and well-equipped place to stay together was exactly what we needed. The home was spotless, neatly maintained, and very comfortable. The location was ideal for the places we needed to visit, and everything was as described. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Airbnb to other families looking for a convenient and welcoming space.

I don’t usually do reviews but this home was beyond my expectations. Home was clean and well kept up with everything you’ll need for your stay. Also, Tavares Seaport is just a few blocks away for an early morning or evening walk.

Enjoyed our stay.

An older home, but one that is clean, affordable and where the owner has tried to think of and put in place those items that will make it enjoyable and comfortable for your stay! Being able to walk a few blocks to restaurants, like our favorite Puddle Jumpers, and Wooton Park with its shoreline walk and state-of-the-art playground, made choosing this rental the right choice for us.(Missed there not being a visitor’s book, which is a good place to get good idea’s for restaurants and nearby places not to miss.)

Charming Cottage.

The spacious kitchen and dining room, plus comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms made for an enjoyable stay. The house is very clean,decorated for fall and stocked with everything needed for a fun get away.

Charming and adorable!

What a cozy home this was. The three bedrooms were perfect for my family of 5. There were even snacks and coffee supplies left for us. Lastly, the Christmas decorations were an unexpected and beautiful touch.

Tiny Tavares Trip

What a great quick getaway to this home! We loved the older homey feel. Very generous host! Close to quite a few restaurants/bars with good food and entertainment by the water. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the same place if we venture that way again!!!

Belated 50th birthday

This home was perfect for a weekend getaway to paddle the springs. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us. It’s just a short walk to get to the water and downtown Tavares. This area is beautiful, relaxing and a short drive along the lake will get you to Mt Dora. Would definitely book again.

We were in FL on business for a benefit bass tournament. The house was very clean and comfortable. Karen was very accommodating to or needs and very helpful. House was centrally located to the venues we needed to travel to. It was great and I would happily stay there again and recommend to anyone needing to stay in that area.

LOVE this cute older home

Rented this place for the weekend for our son’s fishing tournament. Perfect location, with boat parking and hook up. House was very clean and beautifully decorated for Fall! Beds comfy. Fully stocked with everything you would need plus even more. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to rent again next time we are here for another tournament.

Family Wedding

We had a great stay. The house was everything it said it was. The location was perfect for our needs. The extra towels in the kitchen and bathroom were appreciated along with the coffee.. What a comfortable home with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Tavares Florida. It’s not brand new but it’s so clean! We would choose this over any hotel.

The house was very clean with lots of towels. My only issue was the wifi. It was not working when we arrived and despite multiple texts with our host, did not work the length of our four day stay. We were unable to watch tv or connect our devicesdevicesdesdeand despite multiple message

Fantastic Hosts

Karen has a beautiful home. She provided everything we needed with plenty of paper products, kitchen items, blankets, and towels! I’d definitely stay here again. There was a category 1 hurricane while I stayed here, and I needed to speak to Karen. She was extremely quick to respond to my texts and she checked in on us often. All worked out and there were no major emergencies, and even though she had no control over the power being out, Karen helped solve questions I had. My dad lives close by and this was the perfect place to stay while I visited and I’ll book next year if need. I highly recommend this quaint area and safe neighborhood. .

Spacious and beautiful, kitchen was amazing. Host was very helpful and attentive. The only issue was the dry would not work on the stackable unit and the WiFi was a bit iffy.
