"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well.
One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...

"The chateau was beautiful. And the grounds are beatiful.
We had tequested the lovely luxury room photographed in the listing and even after a second email to reconfirm our request, we did not receive the room we requested. It would have been appreciated to have received communication from the chateau that they were not able to accommodate our request.
On a different note, we felt the breakfast did not meet the level of excellence that would be expected from a hotel of this level and there was...
