This vacation spot was perfect for us. It sits just across from the beach, with a beach access point in front of the building. Literally a three minute walk to an incredible beach. The home was spotless and had all the amenities you could ask for. The owner provided us with ample storage space. It was a ten minute walk to the mall and indoor pool. Coffee shops and small convenience stores were also just a five minute walk. It is located a 6.5 km walk along the beach boardwalk to the downtown area. Would definitely rebook!

Loved the place, checkin went smoothly, we were just around the corner of the beach and the beds were super comfy!

Everything clean and good space. I think the need to strip beds before you leave is over the top since you pay for clean. They had everything we needed accept parking. Nowhere safe to park our car. You couldn't really walk to the mount and that is something we missed. Overall a nice clean place to stay at if you are happy to drive everywhere. Sea entrace is across the road but the view is minimal and only from bedroom up stairs.

So close to the waves

Worked really well for us- bikes fitted in garage, always park for car, warm, views of beach, so close to waves- only complaint would be that it’s very noisy as the road is very busy

Fantastic location close to beach and shops

We had a lovely stay. The stairs were a problem with prams. And garage was very tight but so easy to stroll straight across the road to the beach also bus stop out side the building The beds were comfy and having the washing machine was a bonus all the rooms had a balcony and fans in all the rooms which was great as we had the best weather for two weeks over all it was a great stay

Modern apartment part of a large complex, among 3 levels. Beach access across the road.Kitchen had everything we need, and it was all very spacious. One detail which was missed was that the 3rd bedroom was downstairs on the same level as the garage and had to be accessed downstairs and through the garage. Not ideal if you have young children and want them to sleep close by or on same level. Great to have a washing machine and dryer.

Great accomodation in a good location

Great accomodation spread over three levels so with five of us staying, we had space for us all. Nice lounge/kitchen area on the middle floor. Bayfair mall just down the road. Parking was ok, you probably won’t use the garage space but you should get a surface park. If not, lots on the road. Thanks for the stay

We are so grateful to Cathy and her whānau opening their home to us. A beautiful clean home with everything we needed, the kitchen had all the essentials, a few games/cards and books to entertain everyone in our down time and a stunning beach just across the road! Even in spring with the weather raining off and on we still enjoyed walking, playing and swimming at the beach. We had a basketball tournament to attend at Mercury Baypark Arena and this was a great location to come and go from, lots of shops close by and close enough to the arena to go back and forth. The beds were comfortable, warm blankets and having access to the washing machine and dryer really helped with the basketball uniform every night. The garage was small but lots of off street parking so no problem for us. Cathy was so generous letting us have a later check out on our last day to allow us to have a little sleep in and more time to clean and pack up before we left. We truly appreciate your hospitality, ngā mihi nui.
