Nice Apartments in Great Location with some buts

These are great sized apartments for family stays and the location by the lake and pool facilities are excellent. There are no staff, hence the rating, but it works well to just collect your key from box on arrival. There is no cleaning service and they ask you to wash all dishes and take rubbish before leaving. The BUTs come with the level of maintenance and depend on the apartment number as all appear to be individually owned and all are a slightly different size and configuration. We booked Nos 3, 5 and 8. Apt 8 has a mouldy smell especially in the bedroom and I'm guessing some leaky issues with the round walls. We planned a family bbq at Apt 8 but the bbq there was faulty and wouldn't work. We moved our meat to Apt 5 but that bbq was out of gas so luckily our last option Apt 3 had a working bbq with gas. Apt 5 was a nicely equipped kitchen with serving platters and kitchenware for 8 people - it sleeps 8 with 4 bunk beds. Apt 8 only had 5 dinner plates while sleeping 6 and no platters. In all our stay was good. If these apartments could be better provisioned and maintained then they would be top choice accommodation for groups getting together.

Cons: Get bbqs working and full gas bottles, improve cleaning, sandfly issue Apt 8, increase kitchen supplies, repairs for mouldy smell apt 8

Location: Great location a short drive from the centre of town or walkable around the lakeside path which is right outside the pool area.
