The Vaquero Motel

10/10 Excellent

"The motel is wonderful, it’s our 2nd time back here. The location is brilliant for the bars and restaurants, Bandera is a fabulous place. The motel helped us massively with a booking that could have gone wrong (due to booking through a 3rd party) 11th St Cowboy bar is a must, as is OST, that’s without listing all the other bars and food places. And if you want to be a cowboy, or cowgirl for a day, contact Bandera Historical rides. Thanks for having us."

"We had a very nice stay for 1/2 week. Ideal place for 2-3 people…we were just 2. Highlights are the great decks - all covered, with views from within the big trees and exposed to southeast wind for breeze; comfortable furnishings and very new and clean bathrooms; fire pit by the deck (summer so we didn’t use it); bbq grill; very quiet.Kitchen is adequate. There are also several hiking trails to enjoy from the cabin."
