"We just returned home from a 16 night stay in northern India. We stayed at 9 different hotels and I will say this was our least favourite by far. The rooms weren’t very clean. They were pretty small. They were damp, all of our clothes felt damp from the room. The pool was freezing cold. Breakfast wasn’t bad though, and the staff there were much more helpful than the front desk. I wrote to the hotel twice before arriving to let them know we were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary however this wasn’t once acknowledged.
On check in there were about 6 members of staff behind the desk all seemingly trying to avoid making contact with us to do check in, this is such a difference to the usual welcome we’ve received during our stay in India. I’m really baffled how this hotel is rated so highly. "
