    Art galleries, world-class restaurants, stunning scenery, hiking trails, and skiing - all are at your doorstep from this charming, territorial-style adobe, built in 1938 and fully restored to feature not only original charm but also modern convenience. Highlights of the home include Venetian plaster walls, a cozy kiva fireplace, a fully enclosed compound, and mature apricot trees on the property. Spend the morning relaxing on the front or back porch, enjoying the mountain views, then head into town to spend the afternoon perusing the shops and restaurants of Taos Plaza, a little less than two miles away. Taos Ski Valley is around 20 miles away.



    At home, you’ll love the abundant natural light and details like exposed beams, hardwood floors, and Southwest decor. The chef will appreciate the updated stainless steel appliances (no dishwasher) and the whole family will love sitting down for meals together in the dining room. After a day of exploration, relax at home with a board game in front of the fireplace or stream the latest release on TV. Repeat stay didn't disappoint

This is a repeat stay for us and we will stay here again should we return to the Santa Fe area. The location is perfect as a base "camp" for day trips to Taos, Jemez, and Albuquerque. Access to local attractions, restaurants, and businesses is also convenient. We order from Whole Foods and pickup on arrival makes the 1st day less hectic after a day of travel.

Loved the location (walking distance to plaza and many restaurants) and the space - clean, modern, cozy, and great for two couples traveling together. The place is well appointed - hard to see how this could disappoint visitors in any way.

Nice neighborhood, great location, comfortable beds and good amenities. Had everything we needed for our stay. Went in January '24 and had some snow, it was wonderful. We're already planning to go back next spring and we will definitely be staying at Susan's.

Great location and beautiful home

This is a great home for two couples. It’s within walking distance of The Plaza, close to hiking trails and has easy access to the freeway going toward Ghost Ranch and Taos. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfortable. We found it very quiet at night as well. We would stay here again if we come back.

Susan's Hideaway was perfect for a girls' trip. It is a walkable distance to downtown. There is plenty of space inside and outside. The decor is welcoming and great art adorns the walls. Parking on the street is a must if you have anything more than a mid-size vehicle. The building is tucked away on the backside with access from a small driveway. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Fabulous condo

This property was exactly as described. It was close to the plaza, and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and museums. It was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was amazing! Everything you need- plenty of dishes, pots and pans. The coffee maker was great, with plenty of coffee provided. I highly recommend this place!

The condo is exactly as the photos indicate. Nice kitchen (and plenty of appliances), plenty of bathrooms, and spacious bedrooms. The location is great; about one mile from the plaza so easy to walk to. The unit is somewhat difficult to find if you arrive in the dark, and the driveway is long and narrow. But once you know where you are going, it's not an issue. The outdoor spaces are nice, as well. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Santa Fe!

Enchanted February Weekend in Santa Fe

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend. Our adult children joined us and it was a cozy space to be together. Beautiful & comfortable home that had every amenity we wanted. It was spotlessly clean and the decor was warm and welcoming. Fully stocked kitchen. Wood for the fireplace. The location to the Plaza and ski slopes was ideal. We were able to walk just about everywhere we wanted to go, and had easy access to the mountain.

We loved that we could walk to the Plaza in about 10 minutes! The Hideaway was perfect for two couples, with each having a king bed and en-suite bathroom. You could also walk to Canyon Rd. We also enjoyed having 3 outdoor spaces to enjoy on the property. Charming decor.

This place was everything advertised. It was probably the most well stocked VRBO we ever stayed at with towels, appliances, dishes, etc. Very clean and very well decorated. Would definitely stay here again next time!

Very nicely appointed unit with a lot of space. Loved having the private suites for each couple. The extra bathroom was also very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially how close the unit is to everything around the square and beyond. We will definitely stay again. The only unique challenge was the driveway, but we managed to make it work!
