29 May 2026, My husband, dog and I stayed 2 nights. Inside of house was super cute, cozy and very clean. Great bed and great towels, kitchen well stocked and set up to accommodate our dog was wonderful. Could do better on yard maintenance so more enjoyable for evening cocktails and morning coffee, not too inviting, but we made do. Dryer heater did not work, but good response from property manager to fix right away. Fairly close to historic downtown Taos, but likely best to drive as surroundings neighborhood is a little dicey looking. Overall, nice stay and we loved Taos and surroundings for outdoor hikes and exploring!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location was good—close to everything we wanted to do in Taos—and the house itself was cute. However, there were a few issues that future guests should be aware of. The listing advertised air conditioning, but the only cooling source was a mini-split unit in the living room. The bedrooms became very hot, especially during the warmer parts of the day and were difficult to cool down. Beware of this in the summer months. We were also traveling with our dogs, and the backyard was not very usable for them. If you're choosing this property because it is pet-friendly, the outdoor space may not meet your expectations. I would also recommend asking about pet fees upfront. The pet fee was much higher than we expected, and given that the backyard wasn't very functional for our dogs, it felt like an unpleasant surprise. Finally, the listing mentioned a bright, light-filled home, but the blinds in the living room were broken and could not be raised. As a result, we weren't able to let in much natural light, which made the main living area feel darker than expected. The home has a lot of charm and is in a good location, but addressing these issues would make for a much better guest experience.
