About this property
Casita Juliet in Taos, New Mexico
Casita Juliet has it all for the single traveller or couple. Located on a quiet, city centre street and short walk to Taos Plaza. It is a one bedroom (Queen) little home with a well equipped kitchen, separate eating area, large living room. It is decorated in my style of antiques, art and whimsy. Casita Juliet has all appliances, dishes and kitchenware, towels and bedding in a charming intimate yet roomy little house. Ceiling fans in bedroom and living room as well as screened windows and door for summer visits. Electric skirting board heaters in all rooms insure cosy winter stays. It has two outdoor living areas and of course a ridiculous number of plants--a signature of mine...Washing machine/dryer in utility room. Although there are two homes on this property, both have a feeling of privacy with separate off street parking, garden and outdoor living spaces. Casita Juliet can also be combined with the main house 'Casa Madre' as a family compound for a larger group of up to 10. As with all of my properties Casita Juliet is pet friendly. $100 per stay per dog to add at time of booking. Dog sheets provided for sofa and bed. Mutt mitts for clean up. Front area is fenced so your small dog can spend time with you on front patio/portal. I offer a generous 30% discount for stays over 30 days. If Casita Juliet is booked for your dates, please look at vrbo 797997 (Casa Azul) or Stayz 920144 (Casa Verde) which are also city centre one bedroom casitas. Please note Casita Juliet can be booked with Stayz 482097 on the same property for larger groups.

this casita was perfect for the weekend, it was clean and had everything needed for our stay. Melissa was easy to communicate with as well when i had a question.
We enjoyed our stay at Casita Juliet. We appreciate the location, close to the plaza and the Taos Mesa Brewery. Also, we were able to go to Bandelier National Monument which is only 1 1/2 hours from Taos. The water pressure was great in the shower, but be aware that the hot water runs out if not careful. The space at the casita was great with a well stocked kitchen.
We enjoyed our stay at Casita Juliet. The location was great for us. We could easily walk to the plaza and also, a favorite brewery, Taos Mesa Brewery. Also, we went to Bandelier National Monument which is only an hour and a half from Taos.Onsite parking was a plus. We liked having the space in the casita and a well stocked kitchen. Great water pressure in the bathroom, but be careful because the hot water can run out.Overall, a great place to stay.
Excellent location central to everything and close to the plaza. Quiet at night. Host was very responsive and flexible about allowing pets traveling with me. The tiny yard was great for quick doggy potty breaks. Great to have laundry in-unit and the heated mattress pad was a nice touch in winter.
We were in town to fish and explore, Casita Juliet was the perfect location for exploring in any direction, then coming back for grocery store or restaurant.
Great place. Close to Plaza and stuff and close to hiking.
This is a great location, It is close to the Plaza and all the other stuff Taos has to offer. Close to some great hikes also. Melissa is a great hostess. I highly recommend this Casita.
We very much enjoyed our stay in Taos! The house was perfect; located in a quiet neighborhood; and had everything we needed. Our little pup really enjoyed the fenced in front porch area.
I had an 11-day stay in September. The kitchen was very well-equipped, I loved sitting on the patio (morning and evening), and bed was very comfortable. Overall very nice stay.
We really had a wonderful time at this place, it was so cute and homey. It was walking distance to shops and restaurants. We shopped and ate our way through town and we loved this was home base for two nights. Melissa was very responsive and recommended a great dinner spot. Would recommend
We enjoyed the whimsy of this casita. It is a funky little place perfect for a single or couple. We appreciated the “dog sheets”, the artwork, listening to old records, and hanging outside. Close to downtown but still very quiet and peaceful.
The house was very comfortable. The property is in a quiet area but local attractions are easily accessible. The Plaza and Kit Carson Park are a short walk away. I would highly recommend Casita Juliet to friends and family.
The one-bedroom cabin was larger than expected, with dining and living areas, very cutely decorated, with a supply of books. Kitchen, bathroom, and heating systems were very good. Kitchen wares, towels and linens, and pillows were very good. No disappointments or issues. Would stay there again.
We loved staying at Casita Juliet. The parking is right at the casita. It was quiet and the bed very comfortable. It’s spacious with a lovely side room, kitchen table and a back room with a washer/dryer. Everything you need in the kitchen is supplied. We loved the outdoor space as well. We would definitely stay here again. We also walked into town which was nice.
This is a sweet, little casita that’s very nice for the price. It has many steps and levels, though, so may not be right for older tenants as there’s certainly a fall possibility. The amenities are as described and although the TV is difficult to figure out, it did finally work. It’s very comfortable and quiet, but needs a few more window coverings for single women travelers to feel comfortable.
Expensive for one night for two people. Final total was $362 with all the fees. Makes the posted “$135/night” rather misleading. We needed something soon and the location was good, so it was okay. We tried to contact owner about an earlier arrival of a couple hours because it was very hot that day, but got no answer.
The casita was perfect!! We especially appreciated the "pet friendly" accommodations. Our host (Melissa) was very clear in communicating the check in and check out process.
We so enjoyed our stay at Casita Juliet! Loved the quiet location, comfy couch for reading, and the washer/dryer. Very welcoming to pets, too! Would stay again.
