"I love this hotel in Tampico. We found it 25 years ago before the area was all built up. Even with the business of the surrounding area, the hotel remains a peaceful retreat with a beautiful garden and pool with birds and nature abounding. There is a full service restaurant with a great breakfast and it serves dinner until about 10 or 11. Even though the rooms are a little older, they are nice and the bed is very comfortable. "We arrived early, we were informed of a deposit required, and conditions to recieve deposit back. No destruction, water diety sheets. It made us feel like we had to sleep on the floor. No full mirror, the AC was good. The fact that we were next to the icean was the benefit. We were not allowed to bring outside drinks????"
