Lakefront VERY PRIVATE Guest House with Gorgeous Lake Views! 2-Bed, 2-Bath

  • This unique lakefront property offers privacy, tranquility, comfort and that “Old Florida” feeling among the oak and pine trees all while set in the middle of Brandon. The beautiful outdoors may be enjoyed through the screened-in porch, Adirondack chairs that you can take down to the lake, a pontoon boat (tied to the shore) to hang out on, a picnic table and more. The sunset colors over the lake are something to be experienced!

    Inside you will find an immaculately kept home with an open concept kitchen/living room flooded with natural light from the vaulted ceiling skylights and large windows with stunning views of the lake. You will see wildlife of all kinds such as owls, osprey, turtles, raccoons, egrets and others. Enjoy the Italian leather couches, a beautiful dining table that seats 6 and cozy queen beds which have all been curated for your comfort. One bedroom has lake views and the other has views of the 1.5 acre property. We have a nice BBQ grill and other features to make you feel completely at home.

    This property has the unique feature where you feel like you’re in the country but you are in the heart of Brandon. Within 1 mile you can find anything you need for restaurants, groceries, shopping malls ... and I-75/I-4 access is minutes away. It is only 20 minutes to downtown Tampa with all that it has to offer such as the Amalie Arena, Channel Side, Bayshore, Tampa Riverwalk and Ybor City. Orlando (and Disney World) is about an hour away. Please read our reviews and you will fall in love with this property.

    There is a self-inflating air mattress, if needed, that can be used in the living room.
    We do not have a cable service, but we do offer smart TVs for your enjoyment. You’re welcome to log in to your favorite streaming services and relax with your own shows and movies during your stay.

Close to everything

Great place to stay for our very busy vacation with daily activities planned throughout the entire Florida Central West region. Easy check in and we settled right in. Tidy comfortable home tucked away in a safe private quiet location. Lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby, convenient to airport and major highways. We will stay again when we return to the area.

Very quiet and clean - all furniture and appliances etc are "upscale" and residence is well maintained. Will stay here again when visiting Tampa area. Beautiful lake view is icing on the cake.

Comfy home-away-from home

Large, well-maintained guest house. Owner was not on premises so very private and secluded - but close enough to restaurants, stores, etc. to be convenient. Loved waking up looking at the lake every morning. Although signs warn of alligators, we never saw any. Enjoyed the screened-in porch. We would love to stay again next year.

Peaceful Haven on the Lake

We REALLY enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the lake. We felt at home. Very soft Ialian leather couches, comfy beds, high ceilings and skylights. Adirondack chairs to relax in. Nice grill. Quiet. Clean. Tons of privacy but near everything. "Old Florida" charm just a short drive from Tampa. Highly recommend.

Upscale updated older property. Gray property manager. Awesome view of the lake from living room window, screened in front porch and front bedroom. Good wi-fi let us stream movies. Grill in back and seating area was nice. No complaints!

We had a great stay. It was so nice to have a quiet place with its own lake and secluded area. Beautiful home with very tasteful decorations. It saddens me that there was an apartment complex built so close to such a beautiful area and you have to drive through that to reach the driveway. Can’t believe the county allowed that.

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

We had a nice time and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful setting. The manager was nice and responsive to our questions and concerns. The place was clean and spacious. It will be on our top of the list if we visit the area again in the future.

Lakehouse in Brandon

This is a lovely 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath guesthouse in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood of Brandon. The house sits on a small lake that encourages birds and other wildlife to have their fun. It was a great stay. Property management was very responsive and good to work with.

Peaceful retreat.

Our three days staying here before leaving on our cruise was a true joy. It is a quiet and peaceful spot in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city you would never know was there unless you were looking for it. The property was exactly as described and we would not hesitate to stay again on our next trip to the Tampa area.

Outstanding experience!

What a peaceful retreat in the midst of the city! Loved sitting at the picnic table on the lake under the old trees in the back yard, at the same time being right there for errands and shopping. Dining options are abundant and all minutes away. The rental is the guest part of a larger house, but the owners aren’t there when you rent it. The only other neighboring house was only occasionally checked on shortly by older people. Also, there’s an apartment complex very close but not directly noticeable. Video surveillance of entrance and driveway added to our feeling safe, but backyard and lakefront were completely private. Given its location, we heard the occasional muscle car, fire truck and a train line, but the sounds actually faded into a background concert of civilization that even underlined the remarkable peacefulness of this place. Managers are great and super-nice. In terms of cleanliness, the place was absolutely impeccable. All you need to know is summed up in an informative guest folder. House rules are totally natural, and knowing what damage stuff can do to a pumping system, we totally understand why it’s not only stated in the kitchen but also where it matters. Mentioning these things also since we wanted to clarify what caught our eyes in the other reviews. We can only recommend this place wholeheartedly - many thanks for sharing your house! This place is truly a gem, and a well-kept island of Old Florida within the growing urbanity around.
