This unique house is the ONLY residential home in Channelside and can sleep up to 4 guests. Walking distance from all the action in Downtown Tampa. A 5 minute drive to the Sparkman Wharf, Florida Aquarium, Curtis Hixon Park, cruise ports and Amalie Arena. A 10 minute drive to the Lowry Park Zoo, Ybor City, Davis Islands, Hyde Park and the University of Tampa. A 15 minute drive to Tampa International Airport, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and the University of South Florida.

Worst. Should have read the reviews

Planning on celebrating Thanksgiving and grandchild’s 3rd birthday. The patio was so overgrown with pricker bushes that it couldn’t be used for birthday party. Fire hazard home, for sure. Extension cords everywhere. Sink is leaking on an extension cord going to the washing machine. No hot water. Management says the mini water heater only allows for 3 minutes of hot water. Can’t take showers, no cooking devices, broken pool table, broken juke box, no dart board machine.No comforter on bed that is next to a refrigerator. Dirty !!!

Started Great...Ended Not So Much

Let's start with the space and it is super awesome and unique. It is a art studio nestled behind a house and the art they have there is gorgeous. The space was big, clean and a good spot relative to all things Downtown Tampa, Ybor, etc. Check in was easy and the onsite maintenence guy was very friendly and helpful, making sure things were smooth. Now for the "not so good." I didn't have internet at all for about 80% of the stay. When I checked in on Wednesday and was there on Thursday, it was fine. Starting Friday, it all went downhill. It just became disabled. I thought it was the storms in the area, because it is Florida, but even after it let up, the internet was still failing. I contacted the property manager, who to be fair, was very helpful and responsive to the matter. We called the local cable provider and they could not find the router info. They stated it would be worked on. By the time check out came today, it still was not fixed. Could not do any remote work, music projects, streaming, etc. All in all, I give the check in, location and asthetic of the property 4.5-5 stars. Two stars off for the fact I was a sitting duck with no connection to anything and had to leave elsewhere to work and listen to music and stream apps. I just didn't get the full experience of the listed description at all, and for my birthday, it was a let down.

NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!! Creepy and not clean

I don’t even know where to begin with this situation. If I could unload pictures I wouldn’t have to explain so much. We had some issues from the beginning when we walked in the door. Contacted the host and they responded immediately. Then the issues just kept coming. -AC was leaking all over the floor. They did offer to come fix it right away but this was just the beginning. 1 light switch for the whole place. Controls the bathroom light, bedroom, living room! EVERYTHING is plugged into extension cords and even multiple extension cords connecting things. Like the washer. It’s plugging into an orange extension cord, then that’s plugged into an extension strip.Where the AC was leaking, a lamp was plugged into an extension cord running through the water on the floor. The lights in the bedroom did not work. Super dark. This place is a fire waiting to happen. . -Washer and dryer are in the bedroom and the dryer vent is not connected lent is all over the wall -Air fresheners for a car are hanging from the vents. -This random L shaped box by the bathroom is full of pillows. I dug out at least 8 that smelled like they were years old. -The sheets had holes in them. the bed is being held up by a stool in the middle. -The pool table is not free. $2 a game.No dart machine as shown in pictures. Almost all the artwork on the walls is gone. -The old dead bolt has a wine cork in it.Front door doesn’t seen every secure. This place could be great We left and got a hotel.
