We tried contacting reception on multiple occasions but were never able to get through, and the reception desk closes at 5pm, which further limited support when needed. "Room was clean and a reasonable size. Shower was OK but very low pressure. TV was very small and difficult to see across the room. Lots of stairs and winding corridors so a bit difficult for OAPs. Breakfast was good."

Riverside Cottage, Abergwynant (sleeps up to 3) - don't forget your binoculars!

"A beautiful little cottage in an idyllic location , communication with the host was excellent throughout and everything was how it was explained .Clean and tidy inside when we arrived and a great place to stay , there’s a good range of great food places nearby , Like the host says Take Binoculars , lots of wildlife , I took my wildlife camera outfit and got some amazing photos .We were amazed at how good the glazing was at keeping out the river noise in full flood on Saturday from the Fridays day of rain.Great value for money stay in a quiet location!"

"The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening."
