"A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! "

"we ate there the night before we left. We ordered dessert online. The server made us show her our receipt for the dessert before bringing it to our table. When she finally brought our dessert she was very sour and didn’t even apologize. Seemed very rude."

Poor quality bacon However, value for money is good in a hotel screening for modernisation in bedroom furniture which is well dated into the last century. You get what you pay for. "Booked our stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel for the purpose of hiking up Snowden. This was a great choice as the hotels location was ideal, being a few hundred yards from the start of the Llanberis path. The hotel itself was very clean, staff super friendly, and the room met our needs. Car parking wasn't a problem as the car park has ample space, and as previously mentioned, is a stone throw from the start of the path we would take to the summit. Eating was good, choice of the restaurant or simply eat in the bar area with all the usual choices you'd expect, fish and chips, steak, pies or vegetarian options. Buffet style breakfast served from 7am, with plenty of choices to suit most people. Overall really happy with our stay, and will be returning in the future. A defiant for hikers or even folk wanting a quiet scenic get away, recommended!"

"I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and I can honestly say that the staff were the best I have ever experienced. The room was lovely, clean and well decorated although needed more storage for clothes and bathroom toiletries. Some thought needs to go into the access to the disabled room as the paintwork is likely to be scratched by wheelchairs and walkers trying to get through the door to the two end rooms (particularly for clients without helpers) which would be a shame. The food was excellent for every meal with interesting and very tasty meals. Ample parking spaces and bus stops outside made for easy travelling."
