Altnaharra Hotel

Altnaharra Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"A very quiet and private place to stay, especially as there aren’t many other options or facilities nearby. You’ll mainly need to rely on the hotel’s own restaurant, but luckily the dinner was very good and we really enjoyed it. The staff were also friendly and helpful. A great choice if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and away from the crowds."

"Wonderful staff - could not have done more to help or be more friendly! There was a good selection of food but I found it overpriced for what it was - mains start at £20. It's classic type food which was cooked well but not outstanding. The room and bathroom were incredibly clean and well presented. The bed was slightly uncomfortable, though and I couldn't help but think that an investment in new mattresses would go a long way, especially for tired travellers after a long day! Otherwise, this was a wonderful hotel in a great location if you're doing the NC500."
