This is one of my most precious photographs from my time at Snowy River Camp, where I worked for several months. On days off, we were lucky enough to be able to take the horses out for long rides in the valley. We would set off with packed lunch, which we ate in the middle of nowhere under a tree, with the horses grazing and dozing off by our side. This shot was taken at that time: Taffy, patiently waiting until we finished our food, the landscape reflecting in his glistening eyes.

Friendly reception, very clean room and, even though it was a small cabin, it still felt spacious and was well resourced. Impressed that cooling was on when we arrived on a very hot day.

Cabin had diy quality renovations, walls undercoated only, curtain did not cover window properly, double bed quilt on queen sized bed. Noise from cool room outside. Site has camp kitchen but no provided pots or crockery. For the price expect better.
