Pet-friendly, cozy 2,400 sq foot home with open concept kitchen, dining, and living room with a well equipped kitchen for you foodie lovers, a washer and dryer, a wood burning stove, and central heating and air. Amenities include Dish Network, Free WiFi, Smart TV's, 2 king beds, 1 full bed, and a day bed with trundle, 2 full baths and 1 half bath.
Outside features a spacious screened in porch over looking Ocklawaha Creek, with 2 kayaks for adventures, dockside access to a popular swimming and water skiing spot on the lake, a large dock with 2 boat slips, outdoor gas grill, picnic area, a cleaning station for fish and two outdoor sinks. There is a public boat launch just minutes away.

Best time!

4 generations stayed 4 nights starting the day after hurricane Hellene. Clean spacious and BEAUTIFUL. My 80 year old dad was able to get in and out without a lot of vertical steps. Host wa extremely helpful

Quit place

This place was just perfect for what we needed on our sons wedding weekend we could come back and unwind every evening and enjoy the sunsets and watch water lapping against the sea wall absolutely perfect.

Great place for sibling reunion

6 seniors found this place to be perfect for 4 days of sharing old memories and making new ones. All of the rooms are spacious, doorways wide enough for wheelchair, kitchen more than adequately equipped for food prep, and neighborhood quiet for sleeping. Loved the gorgeous sunsets too

Family fishing

Second stay with the Joyners in this same place. Fist was 2 days after hurricane Helen and the past 4 days. Great place. Wonderful host. Caught lots of fish. My elderly father and handicapped stepbrother navigated the property easily. Awesome stay for everyone!

We were unable to stay at the property and immediately contacted the owner who helped us through the process of cancellation and refund. She was very understanding and cooperative. The location and view of the lake is wonderful.

Family get together

This is our second trip to this property. We have family in the area and this allowed us to catchup and reminisce. Grandkids got to play with cousins, swam , kayaked and their most favorite past time- fishing. Updated cooktop, clean and freh. We will be back

Lovely Lake House

This is such a cute home with lots of character and being able to step out the back door and be right on the lake was so nice. It had all the amenities we needed and there is a convenience/bait store close by as well if you need to pick up anything. We spent most of our days fishing or exploring some of the state parks that are close by. Had such a lovely time that we are already talking about coming back for another trip.

Gorgeous Lake View

Lake Talquin is a favorite when visiting Tally. It’s out of the way, quiet and you can’t go wrong with a lake house. Huge house with open living area and bedrooms We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the dock. Melanie was so very helpful. If I could give 6 stars in that category I would.

Beautiful Home on the water

We took our grandkids for a three night stay, four adults and five kids. This place was perfect - very spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We caught lots of fish right off the dock. The home was just as pictured. There is just so much space to hang and enjoy - we didn’t even get to use them all. This is by far one of the best VRBO rental we have ever used.

Football Weekend

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the property. We enjoy playing on the water and then making the easy drive to the FSU campus for soccer and football games. The large dining table is perfect for family game night!

Gorgeous view.

Loved the house and location. We were attending a graduation at Florida State University. We enjoyed the views and the large home. It was very comfortable and the hosts were great! If we are up that way again, I would not hesitate to go back. Thank you Joyners !

absolutely awesome stay. our grandson proposed to his girlfriend on the dock (she said yes!!). beautiful home and yards. watched our Florida State Seminoles beat LSU!! very accommodating. we are avid fishers and caught lots of fish.

Beautiful setting. Amazing sunsets! Nice well kept, well stocked home. Very comfortable. The owner responded immediately and was very nice and helpful. Had an issue with internet service. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful house!

We had a wonderful time there. Very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for daily use. So peaceful in the mornings. The piano could use tuning, but my daughter enjoyed playing anyway. We used the kayaks and fished in the dock. Didn’t get a single bite. We had to leave early because of the hurricane but plan on going back.

Plenty of room

Lots of parking, lots of room. Caught some huge catfish. Screen porch with fans and lights a nuce touch in 90+ degree weather. Lots of outside spaces also.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Very nice property. Grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks, swimming and fishing. I got to spend family time with my siblings who live close by. Only wish we could have stayed longer ( school schedules dictated this). The appliances are a little outdated but nothing we couldn't handle. Melanie was very responsive. Will definitely return

Lakeside Beauty

Thabk younfor the accomodations! Everything was perfectly clean and worked well. We enjoyed the new bathroom and shower! The lake views are beautiful and the raused screen porch was awesome for cocktail hour! Within 30 minutes of Tallahassee for FSU game days! Great space and views

Our family of six adults really enjoyed all the space we had to spread out. The kitchen is large and the dining area is Lars also. The kitchen could use a little updating and I gave the host a couple of suggestions for things that might need to be fixed….. overall we would definitely return.
