Peaceful Talkeetna Getaway 4

WE ARE NOT LOCATED DOWNTOWN. Come enjoy our cozy cabin nestled in the woods of Talkeetna. Our recently built cabin comes fully stocked for daily needs. The back deck equipped with a propane grill is the perfect spot to unwind. We also have a fire pit and plenty of twigs to roast marshmallows for smores. The property is close to hiking, ATV trails, Fish lake, and a bike path that leads to downtown Talkeetna. Our cabin is the perfect place to get closer to nature and unwind, or to enjoy endless outdoor fun. Our cabin is mile 9 on the Talkeetna spur highway..

Comfortable cabin secured in a wooded area next to other dwellings. We loved that the owner provided us bikes to ride into town. Would be happy to stay again.

Extremely clean and comfortable cabin. Very easy to access the property. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing a get away. It is only 2 1/2 hours from Denali Natl Park, which is why we decided on this location for 2 nights.

Great Cabin for Two

We did a one night stay while traveling from Denali NP to Anchorage and found this to be a great little cabin. We walked to a nearby lake and saw lots of flowers. The cabin deck and BBQ Grill were a real plus as the weather was outstanding. Plenty of warm sunshine kept the mosquitoes away most of the afternoon and evening. The bed was very comfy too!

A really nice cabin

A really nice and clean place. The only thing is that it was listed as 0.3 miles to downtown while it was 5 miles (not a walking distance anymore) from downtown. At the bottom the description said it was not downtown but I looked at the map and saw the pin on the map in downtown so I thought that was the location. Confusing for sure.another than that s really nice place.

Close to town but I wouldn't say walking distance, maybe snow ski though! It had everything we needed to stay dry when we were playing outside and would definitely return.

Brand new cabin. No cut corners. Emasculate inside and out. Property mis-located on Google maps. Chose property for in-town location shown in ad but cabin actually is 4 miles from downtown Talkeetna. A bit hard to locate from GPS.

Talkeetna Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is brand new and very clean. We made the reservation last minute and only stayed one night because of a mix-up on another reservation in the local area and needed another bed. So, cannot really comment on how well equipped it is for a longer stay but the kitchen appeared to be well provisioned. The location shown on the VRBO map when booking was not accurate. The map suggests that the cabin is on the edge of the village of Talkeetna--it is actually 5 miles down the road. That was not a problem for us since we had a car.
