  • Private guest cottage with kitchenette, living and dining area, bathroom and mountain viewing deck on first floor. Three bedrooms : one queen, one with two twins, and a third downstairs with a full bed. Additional queen futon in living area. Exceptional views of Denali, the peaks of the Alaska Range and the lush Susitna Valley from the private deck.
    Private parking area in front of the cottage. Wifi, direct TV, complimentary coffee, tea, and condiments. Enjoy 20 acres of wooded boreal forest in this wilderness setting while being 5 miles from the Talkeetna townsite with restaurants, boat launch and scenic flight tour airport.

Wonderful stay in Talkeetna!

My husband and I had a great stay at the cabin! We loved the deck and enjoyed time sitting outside and admiring the views. The cabin was wonderful (the Scrabble board game was a plus!!). We would love to stay again next time we’re in Alaska :)

Whitney is an incredible host, she made us feel comfortable and the cottage has incredible views of denali. We were a family of 4 and had a great time in the cottage. Definitely recommended if you want to visit talkateena and nearby areas!

Great views on clear day and very nice location close to Talkeetna. Very quiet and beds were comfortable. The amenities were basic and photos very accurate. We had a visit from a baby moose while on the deck and enjoyed our few days at this location.

This property did not disappoint! This charming cabin was in a perfect location back from the road. It was quiet and had the most beautiful view from the deck and the large picture window in the upstairs bedroom. Perfect for two to three people comfortably. We loved it so much and will be back soon!

Breathtaking Views

Loved this rental! The views were amazing, the beds were comfy and it had what you needed for a pleasant stay. There is only a kitchenette so cooking large meals isn’t possible but Talkeetna is less than 10 minutes away with plenty of dining options. Definitely don’t pass this one up if you want something in the Denali area.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful rear balcony views. The cabin was well-equipped, very clean & all of the furnishings were very comfortable. We appreciated having fans available in both the upstairs bedrooms. Thank you! Great location. Would stay again, if ever we return to the area.

A slice of Heaven

At the risk of this property being booked when I want to come back to Talkeetna, I loved this property. Eight of us booked 2 cabins and were pleasantly surprised they were next to each other. We were greeted by Whitney, the host who provided great information about the area. Our view of Denali and the range from the back deck of the 1st cabin was fabulous! Great location, clean cozy cabins and they were perfect for 4 people in each. There is a 3rd cabin to the left. Our next group visit, we will try to get all 3! Thanks Whitney for a wonderful stay!

Great location, but dated cabin

We stayed in the cabin for 3 days and enjoyed it. Overall, a good accommodation but dated furnishing and equipment. The kitchenette had only a single mobile cooking stove with took long time to get water boiling. Info provided by host inside the cabin regarding local restaurants etc is also dated (mainly between 2012 - 2014).
