"INCREDIBLE!!!! I cannot say enough good things about our 5 night stay here. Every detail was spot on. It’s a 10 min walk from the train station and an easy 15-20 min walk into town and the ferry terminal so incredibly convenient. Bellano was a darling town and we are so glad we stayed here instead of the more popular towns. Our room had a balcony on the side of the building and it provided total privacy and an outstanding lake view. The daily breakfast was 10/10 and plentiful. They welcomed us with a cold glass of prosecco on the terrace looking at the beautiful view while they did our check in paperwork. Every staff member was so outstanding and helpful with suggestions on where to eat and what to see. The bed was so comfy and nice pillows, linens and bath products. They have a little bar and having a drink on the terrace while waiting for our train was a perfect way to end our time in Bellano. We will be dreaming of this place for years!!!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at La Pergola Bellagio Hotel. The view from the lake view room is sensational. Comparing the price with other hotels in the area, it is value for money. They offer free continental breakfast which is served in the lovely veranda by the lake, it is so good and easy. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are new and have been refurbished. The building itself was built in 1700s and has loads of character. The reception and staff were friendly, and helpful even some were able to speak limited English. The lady from reception helped us book a taxi for to the ferry station which was very helpful as getting Uber and taxi is quite difficult in Bellagio due to limited numbers and high demand. There is a 15min walk to the town centre, and its steps up and down, so be prepared. I could name a few things that could have been better: -the curtains in the room in NOT blockout, so sunlight comes in every morning. -there is no in-room tea/coffee facilities. -breakfast is served only from 8am to 9:30, which I think it would have been better if they started serving from 7am so people can eat and get out for their day. All in all, a great experience. Thank you 😊"

"Hotel Villa Cipressi was a highlight of our Lake Como trip. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a beautiful suite with incredible lake views in two different directions, and honestly, it made the stay unforgettable. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was warm and attentive, and the hotel even arranged pickup from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. One note for travelers: Varenna gets very crowded during the middle of the day, especially with visitors coming to see the botanical gardens. My advice is to book a great room with a view and treat it as your peaceful mid-day retreat. Explore the hotel grounds and wander the town in the mornings and evenings when Varenna is at its best."

"Beautiful location and modern, roomy comfortable apartment with easy walk to restaurants and shops. Check in is with receptionist at fitness club that shares building but host was easily reached and very responsive. If coming by car location is reached by driving down a narrow tourist crowded street with a restricted access sign which we did not realize until after finding parking far away and walking to the site and getting clarification from the receptionist. Once there, however, parking is provided and easy. We were also surprised to find the heat had been turned off in the building before our arrival and the weather was cool. Host quickly provided a portable heater which sufficed when informed of the problem."
