"Our recent stay was a tale of two cities: incredible service and location hindered by a property that has seen better days. The staff truly carries this hotel. A special shout-out to Berkay, who was an absolute lifesaver; he went above and beyond to help us recover 500TRY after an airport taxi overcharged us. The restaurant team, particularly Silvia and Yunus, were equally fantastic, ensuring we started every day well with a good breakfast spread. The rooftop views were stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for our mornings. The spa experience was a highlight. Nisa was brilliant in helping us book a couples Hammam and massage, which was the best experience of our trip. The steam and sauna were excellent, and the traditional Hammam was outstanding. While the massage was top-tier, the jacuzzi was "so-so," and we had concerns regarding the pool water quality. Location-wise, the property is perfectly positioned. Being a 2-minute walk from the vibrant bars of Istiklal Caddesi made our evenings magical, and the proximity to the Şişhane metro and Karaköy ferry made exploring effortless. However, don’t expect a view from the hotel if you are staying in a standard room; you are better off keeping the curtains shut, be it to the front or back of the property. The property itself is tired and dingy. Additionally, the air conditioning struggled to keep up with the summer heat. While the staff and location make this place worth considering, the dated infrastructure is a clear drawback."
