"The tents on the campground were beautifully appointed and felt like luxury hotel rooms, from a clean and comfortable bed to high-quality shower and bathroom areas. The personnel could not have been more attentive and accommodating and were helpful and supportive at every turn. Set dinners were well-priced and were very good. My one cautionary message would be some unexpected additional charges imposed by the camp. They charge 300 MAD ($30 US) per night for critically important nighttime air-conditioning (daytime heat in the Sahara makes nighttime in the tent unbearably warm), and 300 MAD ($30 US) for 4-wheel drive transportation, each way, between the main road in Mergouza (as near to the camp as most cars can go) to the camp. Our two nights at this camp were a fun and memorable experience — visits to nomadic areas and camel rides our favorite highlights — and would highly recommend it."

"Nous sommes arrivés à 11h le matin et on nous a tout de suite donné la chambre et servi le thé. On nous a ensuite servi le lunch, qui était délicieux. Pour le dîner, on nous a installé une table à la piscine, pour un service privé. L’ambiance était magique! Nous avions un frigo à la chambre, ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié puisqu’on doit garder des médicaments au froid. Nous avons adoré cet endroit! Nous recommandons grandement!"

Tout le personnel a été très serviable mais mention honorable à Abdel qui est le chef d’orchestre sur le site et qui s’assure qu’on ne manque de rien. Si vous voulez vivre une expérience inoubliable, nous recommandons fortement le Sanmao desert luxury camp."

"A fantastic hotel in the heart of the desert, with breathtaking views of the Sahara Sand Dunes. Sitting on the hotel porch and taking in the spectacular dunes was an absolute delight and truly one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the chef went above and beyond to prepare both lunch and dinner according to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious and added to an already wonderful experience. The rooms were beautifully designed, tastefully furnished, and surprisingly luxurious. We also loved the hotel’s architecture, which blends beautifully with the surrounding desert landscape and creates a genuine sense of connection with nature. Overall, this was a memorable and unique stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our experience."

"A lovely welcome with Moroccan tea before departure, along with clear explanations of all the activities offered by the team. The tents were very comfortable and beautifully located in the heart of the desert. Everything was well organized, from the activities to the dinner and breakfast. A special mention to Saïd, who took care of the 4x4 driving through the dunes and was always available to help with anything we needed. The whole team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience truly memorable."
