"If you are visiting Osaka area and want to experience authentic traditional Japanese lodging (ryokan) in an off the beaten path place, this might be the place to go. It's about 40 minutes away on a local train from Namba statiuon (Nakai Koya line). There doesn't seem to be much around the ryokan although we really didn't explore.
