LUMOS INN
No stairs so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise the common area was a nice touch with free tea and snacks. That was surprisingly nice. The weird steps in the room and the bathroom took a little getting use to. Overall decent stay. Close to some good markets and street food.

City Suites scores very highly for location. It’s in Datong District, only about a 5- to 7-minute walk from Beimen MRT station. It’s also reasonably close to Taipei Main Station.
