"The location is perfect, close to shops and restaurants. We loved the atmosphere, the veranda overlooking the flowing water feature which is very relaxing, and the vegetable garden is a plus. "The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We felt like we had a personalized experience with the fishing advice given, shown the good spots and ideas for activities. We feel we got to know the staff well and enjoyed our stay. The menu was good. The WiFi was a little interrupted but they did their best to accommodate our needs. "

"I booked for two nights stay but had to check out next day. Because the room smells so bad the bed smells bad pillow bed cover all dirty and roaches can be seen on kitchen counter top very dirty. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed. "

"The staff are extremely friendly and kind. Limited options for food but there is a shop on most nights. Its beach location is great for snorkelling and beach walks. It's a nice quiet place but old and could do with a revamp. It's good valve for money."

"Great location on the beach with beautiful gardens and infinity pool. Nice size resort for couples. Front bungalows can get a bit noisy but very comfortable. Service was amazing with a few activities every day. Making contact prior to the stay was problematic however it was all fine once we arrived. There were some shops / restaurants nearby which was handy. The restaurant on site was ideal though. "

"An amazing stay in this stunning home with views over Maui Bay. Spotlessly maintained with comfy beds and large living areas. BBQ/games area is perfect, as well as having access to the local Rec club pool and facilities, with plenty of activities for all ages.Very close walking distance to the local shops, restaurants and beach. Great spot to base yourself to explore the Coral Coast.Papu and Vansheka are lovely and the house and gardens are beautifully kept.We hope to come back again someday."

"Amazing value. The pool is huge! The unit was also large. Easily accommodated 12 for dinner (we travelled with extended family and had 3 units but got together for some meals) and bedrooms were very spacious. Everything was really clean. Lots of food options close too - we enjoyed the West Grill, Diner, Chinese, coffee shop and waffle place (who made my daughter's birthday very special), and used the supermarket and vege stall too. Stay away from the indian place down the road opposite the pier. We walked to the beach across the road and down the stream and then along the beach to snorkel off the pier. The Pink Spa was also great - between the group we had braids, manicures, pedicures, massages - all great value."

"Had such an amazing time at the beautiful peaceful location just 5-10min walk from Maui bay beach. Property: I came as a little solo retreat to take a break from NZ winters. The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the fact I could get away from bright lights at night and the blackout blinds. The wifi was perfect for calls/work, and never had a glitch. The property was quiet and beautifully landscaped with abundant fruit trees and veggie gardens, and I was even treated to fresh papaya and banana's and offered garden veggies! I loved going down for swims at sunrise/sunset and was often the only person at the pier. The beach is swimmable all day, although at low tide it's recommended to swim off the end of the pier. The local's are incredibly friendly, most speak English and as a solo female travelled I never once felt at all unsafe. HOSTS! This was the absolutely best part of the stay. Dee and Ken and their family were incredibly welcoming, helpful and made me feel at home the minute I arrived. Anything I needed Ken helped organise and was always only a text away. Nacho (the dog) was a fantastic tour guide and would accompany me to the beach guarding me all day until I was ready to walk home. Thank you so much. Cant wait to return!"

"Arrived and was warmly welcomed by Jay...Who was amazing from the get go he offered to arrange all meals ...we should have listened there is no food better in the area...only let down was the wind and snorkeling wasnt fantastic and the local restaurant coast was a disaster. Jay makes this accomodation special along with the other staff highly recommend just for the hospitality alone x"
