Excelente experiencia en la naturaleza.

Hemos pasado tres semanas en pareja y con amigos y la experiencia en mitad de la montaña, pero cerca de Tábua con todos los servicios, ha sido estupenda (imprescindible disponer de un vehículo). Hemos hecho excursiones a ciudades y pueblos de la región, hemos ido a bañarnos al Atlántico, hemos hecho senderismo desde la casa y hemos disfrutado de la casa y el jardín, especialmente de las noches frescas incluso en agosto. Lo que más nos ha sorprendido han sido las magníficas playas fluviales de la zona (incluso con banderas azules), el frescor y transparencia del agua de los ríos y la belleza de los entornos. Laura y Andrew han sido unos anfitriones muy especiales, siempre disponibles y siempre discretos y respetuosos. La casa ha resultado muy cómoda, nos han facilitado todo lo necesario, hemos llegado a dormir cinco personas. Ha sido un lujo degustar los exquisitos huevos, verduras y frutas de la pequeña explotación que regentan los propietarios. En resumen, máxima satisfacción con este alojamiento vacacional y con sus anfitriones.

Férias muito desejadas

A casa é muito acolhedora, faz-nos sentir em casa. Temos tudo o necessário. Jardim lindo, grande, piscina grande. Excelente propriedade onde podemos descansar divertir e passar Excelente tempo em família. Paisagem lindíssima, dá para aproveitar o wue a natureza tem de bom. Muito sossego. Muitos locais para visitar pelos "arredores". Os proprietários muito simpáticos e acolhedores. Vivem no andar de baixo, mas mal damos conta da presença deles. Aconselho a quinta serrano a todos, vão adorar.

A propriedade é tal e qual a descrição. Sentimo-nos totalmente em casa, a Laura e o Andrew são anfitriões impecáveis, muito amistosos e disponíveis. Tivemos bastante privacidade e a casa é muito agradável. A localização é muito isolada, havendo assim mais privacidade e descanso. Adorámos a estadia. Os arredores são fantásticos para visitar. Maravilhoso refúgio de tranquilidade e natureza

Adorámos a estadia nesta casa onde tudo está posto como se estivessemos em nossa casa, onde acordamos com os passarinhos a cantar, o som dos sinos das cabras que vão pastar ao pé do rio e o sol maravilhoso que nos brindou durante uma semana. O jardim é lindíssimo e os anfitriões são extremamente cautelosos para manter a nossa privacidade, ainda que estejam por perto. Foi uma excelente base para ir a praias fluviais, como a da Senhora da Ribeira, a aldeias históricas, como Piódão, a percursos amigos dos patins em linha, como a Ecovia do Dão (recomendo entrar em Treixedo), provar a gastronomia local (Caldeirão da Bruxa é obrigatório, perto de Midões)... Recomendo!

Espectacular

Uma casa espectacular, com um jardim lindo e uns anfitriões excelentes, também a nível de simpatia como de prestabilidade. A casa têm todas as condições para umas férias muito boas, com um jardim lindíssimo e uma piscina para os mais pequenos e maiores. Os donos são muito prestáveis e apesar de nem se dar por eles, se for necessário alguma coisa ou informação eles respondem na hora. Parabéns à Laura e Andrew e obrigado pela magnifica estadia que nos proporcionaram.

Paradise in Portugal

Searched for and found online, Andrew and Laura the quinta owners’ were most helpful and very friendly without being intrusive. They were always willing to assist and advice throughout our two week stay. We went on the 28th August to visit our land near Tabua, bought many years ago. We flew in to Porto early evening and picked up a little Smart rental car at the airport. We stayed overnight in Porto and spent the following day exploring this delightful city. We hope to go back with more time in the future. We drove the the two and a half hours to the quinta, having received useful and detailed directions from Andrew and Laura in advance. Having spent longer in beautiful Porto than intended we arrived at the quinta mid evening as it was getting dark, to be greeted by Laura and Andrew. We were given a tour with an explanation of the facilities. Although we had seen the excellent photographs provided on the website entering the house was a revelation. The house was a fantastic country home, a big vase of freshly cut flowers on the large dining room table to greet us. The open plan living area was spacious and elegant with an excellent kitchen, which we made good use of! It felt like home. The two bedrooms were both quiet and comfortable. There was a nice bathroom, with both bath and an excellent shower in the bath. We woke the next morning and were able to take in the view …. awesome! The lovely granite quinta surrounded by fields and trees. A little terrace by the front door with two chairs from which to view the beautiful garden next to the house, cup of coffee in hand. We felt we had reached paradise. Everything in the house worked like clockwork, Laura and Andrew were nearby and available to answer any questions. Nearby Tabua is a quiet little town but with good facilities, even an organic shop and a restaurant next door with vegan options on the menu. There are many nice places to visit and walks to be taken. We really enjoyed our time in Portugal and will certainly be going back. We strongly recommend this house and the delightful hosts.

A good decesion

It is a very beatiful place, the garden is a little paradise thank`s to the work of Andrew and Laura. Also my friend and me could help them with their goats and we were squeezing apple juice. The best VRBO I've ever rented

I don't know where to begin. The property is impeccably kept, any reasonable accoutrement you could think of that you would need is provided. Spacious, well appointed, with friendly and polite owners who give you all the space you desire, yet are available to assist you. The outside of the property is as stellar as the inside, and the peaceful garden area is a wonderful respite from a busy world. My fiance also enjoyed the pool. Clean linens, spotless living areas, and all appliances in excellent working order and modern. Shops and restaurants are near the village of Tabua, and less than an hour to Viseu or Coimbra for a city vibe. The people of Tabua are very friendly, as well. I have stayed in many VRBO in many countries, and this is, bar none, the finest place I've stayed. You won't be disappointed. L & J

Laura, Andrew y su amorosa gatita nos han hecho sentir, no como invitados en su casa, sino mejor que en la nuestra! La casa es preciosa y muy cómoda. El entorno es fantástico y permite hacer excursiones muy diferentes, todas preciosas. Y traerte souvenirs muy especiales, sobre todo después de visitar a su amiga Anabela. El mundo es muy grande pero seguro que volveremos a vernos. Y familia! En Madrid tenéis vuestra casa cuando deseéis!
