"Don’t judge a book… from the road this hotel looked run down but it was one of the best of our trip! The back entrance deck has a hot tub, plants, hummingbird feeders, comfortable couches, etc. the room was huge with a microwave and fridge. The continental breakfast had excellent coffee and fresh juice, yogurt and pastries that must have been from a local bakery… no Sara Lee here! The owner, Joe is a wonderful person. Would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The queen suite was very roomy and the lake view was beautiful. Having the sofa and kitchenette was a nice option. The mattress was very comfortable as well. The shower had great water pressure and the water was immediately hot. My only complaint is that the bath towels were a bit thin and small. "
