Perfect but change the bed in a real double bed

Excellent petit studio fonctionnel, moderne, propre et bien décoré en plein coeur d'Ortigia. Le seul regret est du côté du lit. Non seulement il s'agit de deux lits simples collés ce qui crée un creux en plein milieu très désagréable mais aussi, le matelas était très mou, faisant rapidement mal au dos. Hormis cela, c'est parfait!

The property is located in an amazing location, minutes away from beautiful piazzas and restaurants, yet on a quiet street in a private courtyard. It was sparkling clean and the owner was incredibly responsive and friendly! Highly recommend spending your stay in Siracusa here.

A very nice apartment

The apartment is VERY nice, newly renovated and located within a secure entrance way off one of the many walkway/alleyways of Italy. One of the people that live in that combination of apartments has a dog. It was a very nice dog but just be aware that its there. I have to admit it startled me a bit. Again, the apartment is very clean and new and has an elevator to get you to right into the apartment itself. Be sure to make arrangements with the owner to get the keys, etc. There is a pass code to get into the gate and then the keys were left for us by the apartment but we did not realize that. You can't park there but you can on one of the nearby main streets. Parking in Italy can be challenging so you may have to walk 5-10 minutes. It was a very nice stay.

Lovely little apparment - only issue was the dog

Lovely little appartment in Ortigia. Great location. Good communication. I really enjoyed my stay here and Ortigia Island particulatly was a fab place to be based! The only issue was a Boxer dog that lived in a neighbouring apartment but was left to roam around the courtyard to his own devises. I love dogs so was not too affected by this, but the dog spends the majority of its time in this courtyard and is allowed to pee there. One neighbour specifically warned me not to leave a towel outside to dry on a chair at all as the dog would pee on it. I am also sure the dog regularly peed not far from our front door, so that smell was not always pleasant. The dog was very friendly, but a little too friendly, trying to hump us as we left or returned to the apartment. Again, I am used to dogs so this was not too much of an issue, however someone not confident with medium sized dogs or someone scared could find this a big problem. Also, the dog howled some mornings continually when it was locked behind a gate. Which was sad, and also woke me up / stopped me sleeping in.

Sehr gut geeignet für Syrakus-Interessierte

Das Apartment ist klein – aber dafür ist der Preis günstig. Da es im Erdgeschoß liegt, ist es für Leute mit Gehbehinderung ideal (keine Treppen). Nachteil ist eine gewisse Lichtarmut: Einzige Quelle für Tageslicht ist ein in die Tür integriertes Fenster, das aber aus Gründen der Privatheit immer durch einen Spannvorhang verhängt sein muß. Das Apartment ist sehr ruhig – allerdings gibt es einen Hund im Hof, der gelegentlich wild bellt. Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich neu, die Ausstattung gut, der Sanitärbereich in Ordnung. Ein negatives Detail: Zunächst fanden wir kein Besteck! Es befand sich in einer Schublade, die weder einen Griff hatte – so daß man probehalber ‘mal hätte ziehen können – noch beschriftet war. Eine lästige Nachlässigkeit! Wir hatten schon Ersatzbesteck gekauft, ehe wir nach Tagen das eigentliche Besteck entdeckten. Das Personal, das wir erlebten, war freundlich. Allerdings war die Erreichbarkeit ein Problem: Wir hatten nur eine Mobilfunk-Nr., aber die Handy-Kommunikation von Syrakus über Deutschland nach Syrakus ist schwierig. Eine Adresse in der Stadt oder zumindest eine Festnetznummer wären hilfreich. Negativ war der Service. Es war wöchentliche Reinigung zugesagt. Stattdessen kam während unserer zwei Wochen niemand, keine Handtücher wurden gewechselt, nichts … Monieren konnte man nicht, siehe „Erreichbarkeit“.

Ottimo loclae in una delle viuzze di ortigia, nulla da dire semplicità, e gentilezza dei gestori. Posto incantevole e dalla posizione eccezzionale per vivere al meglio la città. Unico inconveniente un'umidità un pò elevata nel locale, ma irrilevamente mantenendo ccesa l'aria condizionata.

Modern apartment, perfect location

Check in is arranged by calling the manager as no staff on site. Brand new apartment, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Excellent location. I couldn't get the air con to work but in fact the room was really cool. Neither could get the TV to switch on. No response to my SMS and it wasn't an important enough issue for me to phone
