"Casa do Vale Cabo is a true work of the heart. The landscape changes. And time slows in this special part of Portugal. The food tastes better. The air is lighter. You can breathe and be nourished. Our lodgings were immaculate. Our view was exquisite. The most special thing though is the amazing humans who hosted our stay. We came in strangers. And left friends. "We chose this hotel as unlike most, it had a pool - infact 2, 1 inside and 1 outside. We had a great room - large with seating area and a view of both the pool and the castle. Superking bed which was very comfortable. Disapponted no iron available. It is, by comparison to others in Tomar, a large hotel and whilst its used by coach tours its quiet whilst being in easy walking distance of the beautiful town and its attractions. There's a good choice at breakfast although the coffee machines take ages. The hotel don't seem to promote the restaurant for evening meal so we didn't try it. Would stay again

"I would highly recommend Mercure Fatima. Our stay was excellent. Property has a convenient location, close to Fatima and shops and dining options. There is a restaurant at the hotel as well. Property was extremely clean. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Breakfast is excellent, offering different choices of food. The only inconvenience we had was with parking at the hotel. Parking is underground (it is usual in all hotels in the area) and it is small. It gets full easily and the only choice is to park on the street across the hotel. Overall, our stay was amazing and we would stay at Mercure Fatima again."
"After not such so good start when management did not return my message requesting check in instructions, I managed to contact a helpful young man who met me at the premises and showed me our room. We stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony. The property has been beautifully renovated and our room was modern and stylish with a lovely comfortable bed. The balcony was beautifully traditional, with gorgeous views looking over the roof tops towards the Praca and the Convento de Cristo which was illuminated after dark. We would definitely stay here again if in the vicinity."
