Lay Lake Cabin @ Piney Point on Peckerwood Creek!

Built in 2020, this lake cabin is perfect for relaxing off the beaten path. Three bedroom, two bath with semi-open living and dining area is great for hanging out. Lots of great natural light to let the lake views in! Large front porch and stone patio invite you to just be outside and soak it all in! Or you can go to the main boathouse and spend the day getting some sun, fishing, or swimming. Separate pier on the other side of the point is also excellent for a fish or swim. Water is 8' deep off the end of the docks, perfect for swimming. Home has DISH TV for rainy days. Just 10 minutes from Pursell Farms, it's perfect for golfers or wedding guests who wants to be close by but have a private house on the water all to themselves. Book today!

This property was the perfect spot to stay while in town for a golf tournament at Pursell Farms. The owners were awesome! The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. This trip was just me but would be the perfect cabin for a family as well. The view of the lake was beautiful! Highly recommend this cabin!

The house was beautiful, clean and cozy. It We played golf at Pursell Farms which is only about 10 minutes away but we spent the majority of our time fishing off of the peer and sitting around the outside fireplace. The view is amazing. The house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked. The hostess was also amazing. We will definitely be going back in the spring. I highly recommend this cabin.

Paradise by the Lake

This makes our 2nd time staying here and was amazing the first time and still amazing this time. The perfect getaway to paradise. Love, love, love!!!Home is so welcoming and comfortable with amazing views.

Great getaway

Family weekend trip

I’ve stayed at multiple VRBOs and without a doubt this surpassed them all. The host was so accommodating to all our needs and was so fast at responses to all our questions both before and during stay. The place is just like the pictures and we will be back. Place was so peaceful and had lots of fun.

Amazing Place!

Our stay was perfection! The home was immaculate and had everything we needed! The view was gorgeous and location was close enough to town to go grab a bite to eat if we wanted to. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to again!

Restful event weekend

We wanted a relaxing place to stay while in town for a busy event weekend. This home was exactly what we needed. The early mornings by the lake were absolutely beautiful. We have plans to visit again just for fun.

Pursell Farms Stay

We stayed for my son’s golf tournament at FarmLinks. This place provided a great option to stay that was way less than staying at Pursell and only 10 minutes away. We got to enjoy the beauty of the lake in the afternoons and the fire pit after dark. Great place to stay and would consider staying again if we are back in the area.

Didn’t want to leave !!! So relaxing !!

Our stay was wonderful! The home was lovely !! Beds were comfy !! Communication with John was great !! He answered all of my questions being we were travelling for a wedding and unfamiliar with area!! Bonus was so close to Pursell Farms and able to explore this beautiful area!!

Fun, Relaxing Family Retreat

We had a great time staying at the Lay Lake Cabin! The back porch is great for the enjoying the scenery. Great living space and bedrooms. My daughters (3 yo, 1 yo) had a great time swimming in the water and catching lizards around the property. Would recommend to any family looking to get away and enjoy some quality family time. Although there is no wifi, we were able to bring a hotspot from our library and have wifi while at the cabin without issue!
