"It was very nice. It was very expensive to the pint of being ridiculously pricey! Most staff were a good a few had a bit of an attitude if they thought you look like you didn’t have money. Overall nice hotel to stay and great location."

"Staff were phenomenal. Great location, steps away from Circular Quay, the Opera House, and the Botanical Gardens. Very convenient for shopping or sightseeing. The only drawback is that the restaurant doesn't open until 6:30 am, so no morning room service for coffee. The in-room coffee is instant."

"In desperate need of renovation, at least a replacement of carpet and upholstery. Still the same after 30 years. Our pillows had such a strong odour coming from them that I needed to ask for new pillows. Room smells unpleasant, and so do the carpeted hallways. We booked through Hotels.com and got, what we thought, was one of the worst rooms in the “deluxe “ category. Staff very friendly and good room service. "

"Excellent hotel and staff, in a great location. I’ve stayed at The Grace several times over the years and wouldn’t consider anywhere else in Sydney. My only comments are that the mattress was too soft and hard on my back. I don’t usually get back issues. Would also be nice to have a couch, as there’s plenty of room, and a second dining chair. "
