Management is horrible. Had mould in the washroom in our room. Very unsanitary. Never experienced this at any Marriott hotel. , EVER. Management gave us the run around for 2 days. Didn’t offer to change our room , no solution was offered. Stay away.

Service throughout was disappointing and substandard. My room didn’t have a kettle and service is extremely slow. Breakfast slow and poor service. Great location and access to all modes of transport. Central access to all major tourist attractions. Won’t stay here again as for the money I paid I’d rather pay a bit more and stay at Four Seasons or Shangri-La.

For $299 a night you can find much nicer hotels in the CBD. I was told I would receive a text when my room was ready - this didn’t happen. The bathrooms are old, the room was not clean, the bathroom tap did not stop running and the bathroom door didn’t close. I considered complaining and then remembered at check in we were told the hotel was fully booked so I knew I couldn’t be moved to a different room.

This is a great location. Within walking distance to the Opera House and ferries along with shopping at high end stores. Room was clean, comfortable and the staff very accommodating to our requests. The concierge was not only helpful but a delight to work with. Very nice property and would stay there again.

Loved the experience and will be seeking out Marriott hotels in other city’s and will certainly be back here when traveling to Sydney again. Staff made our stay amazing. Forwarned about lift wait times allowed us to be more understanding when waiting long times as some in maintenance while we were there. Somethings will be out of their control but they kept us informed.

The Marriott location is outstanding, with the opera house, Harbour Bridge, and the rocks all within walking distance. Shopping and restaurants are convenient.

The hotel building itself is very old with old bathrooms with old world fittings and fixtures. For the price we paid for the room , the hotel was not value for money. Won’t stay here again.

Love the location! Perfect for me and my daughter for the first time in Australia. The lounge for early check in or late checkout was amazing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lobby was spectacular with water, mint and tea for free. Didn't like that the elevators take for ever to go up or down and that the carpet in our room was very unpleasent to walk on (old and dirty) . Other than that everything was clean. Good experience overall.

Location is 5 minutes from train station which is route from Sydney Airport. Great location and in hotel restaurants. Superb breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent 5 star value !

The hotel was conveniently located for all that Sydney offers however, it was fairly average with everything else. It was a nice touch to have an early arrivals area, which boasts showers for guests, yet they are not cleaned or wiped down between guests. If you don’t mind showering with someone else’s hair etc it’s great. It good for a quick freshen up but that’s it. The elevators were SLOW. On average I waited about 10-15 minutes during high traffic times for an elevator. One guest I was talking to waited 40 minutes from floor 20. I was disappointed with the food options and the bar was the only option in the day that I could see. The staff were VERY helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a base in Sydney with no frills and convenient then it’s great, but for what I needed I’m not sure I would stay there again.

I really liked the hotel, breakfast was spectacular, very complete. Although, the elevators were a real issue, they took too long and one wasn’t working fully as it should.
