Great location. Very comfortable bed. Spacious room - although a bit bland. Good facilities - pool and gym. Would have been nice to have a few snacks / mini bar. It would also be useful to know that you can have use of hair straighteners etc when you book, rather than when you turn up at the hotel.

Bed linens were dirty. Couch was dirty and unusable. Shower area were not cleaned either. They changed the dirty linens and pillow cases. But other were left dirty. This is my second stay at Meriton Bondi Junction. On the first stay (4-5 nights) the aircon was faulty and they did not bother to fix it until the third night (Technician was not available). This time we stayed for 2 nights and faced with dirty beds, couch and shower.

Adjacent to Bondi Junction buses, trains and very good Westfield Shopping Mall. BUT disorganized front desk and inexplicable apartment change required. We had to make 2 separate bookings because time period exceeded 28 day stay. Had booked months in advance so they had more than enough time to book just one apartment for the entire stay. But they MADE US MOVE apartments - required packing and then unpacking which took over 3 hours - once the 2nd booking kicked in.They also didn't tell us until the day before that we had to move and only because we stopped at the desk for another reason. Said they would have otherwise told us on the day!

The location of this property was perfect for exploring Sydney. It is located at a transit center (bus hub and metro station). It's very easy to get from the property to many places around Sydney by public transit. There are many grocery stores within a very short walk. The apartment was comfortable and well-appointed. The building could use better maintenance. The steam room was out of service the entire time of our 10 day stay. The equipment of the gyms was very limited.

Disgustingly dirty apartment
Booked to end our trip of a lifetime to Oz at Bondi Junction in a “luxury one bedroom apartment”. Nothing luxury about it! Could not have been more disappointed. Arrived to find black hair on the towels,two full bags of garbage in the apartment including empty pizza boxes, a dirty shower and dirty bathroom floor. Went to reception to report after a 13 hour drive, just reported it and asked for it to be cleaned properly and towels changed. Manager came and took photos and did apologise profusely. We went out for the night, came back, floor and shower cleaned (not brilliantly) and rubbish gone but hair still on the towels! Went to bed as it was 2am and was woken at 4.30am with commotion in the corridor outside our room. Really loud relentless banging and shouting. After five minutes got up and opened the door to say something to find the police banging on the next apartment door looking for someone. Quickly closed the door again! Then hangover in full swing, woken again at 8.30am with lots of shouting and carry on in the hall from what sounded like a large family perhaps checking out, again gave it five minutes or so and got up to the foot to ask them to keep it down to find it was all the hotel staff having a carry on in the hall! No consideration for guests. On leaving, asked for our towels to be changed AGAIN, and bed sheets as also dirty, went out for the day came back at 7pm to NOTHING DONE. Completely filthy apartment and staff that just do not care. AVOID!

the rooms only get serviced if you stay more than 8 days, this meant that my room wasn't serviced my entire stay. i chased clean towels and for the bins to be emptied and at one point i went to the pool to get clean towels. Staff had a no care attitude and were most unhelpful. The indoor pool was not heated and in fact was freezing. There was only 2 dishwashing tablets for the 8 days and 3 cups 3 wine glasses.. hand washing most of the time and no dishwashing liquid either.

You can’t beat the location, convenience, apartment size and the views (if you’re lucky enough to get the right room) HOWEVER, this place could be so much cleaner. It’s a shame that Meriton doesn't act on the complaints about the poor cleaning standards, which seem prevalent on their reviews. My complaint was to do with mouldy curtains and dusty air con vents (the actual list could have been much longer). Nothing was done, despite going to report it in person and a promise someone would be up to deal with it. I have travelled for 30 years and it would be one of the most dirty places I have stayed. Come on Meriton, give the the place a good spring clean and up your cleaning standards and this then would be an unbeatable place to stay.

Not a bad stay but definitely room for improvement. Other Meriton Suites have better service and facilities. Found a blood stain on our doona and when we reporter they said they would have house keeping change it. No apology though. Also our room was outside the cleaners cupboards which were left open quite a bit and often had assorted items left in the corridor. Will stay at other Meriton properties again but not this one.

Could not fault the apartment, spotless and beautiful , however slightly disappointed to have been allocated a room above the bus terminal which meant we couldn’t open the patio doors and use the balcony because of the noise.

After a long flight I was very disappointed with the check in process first of all, A long walk to get to a manned front desk, no where did i find and still cannot find that we would be charged extra at the hotel for paying with a card not from an Australian bank. I showed my receipt to the check in staff and they just kept pointing me to their sign on the desk and could not give me a reason to why i was not prewarned i would be charged when i was paying with a worldwide bank and in AUD. Staff rather abrupt and didnt look like they wanted to be there. Neither steamrooms was working, the pool was freezing and the hot tub next to it was luke warm at best. Needs a freshen up paint peeling off all over the place and mold. The room was the only saving grace although the balcony had not been cleaned prior to our arrival it was filthy. The tiles within the apartment suite were also dirty although it didnt look it i had just gotten a shower the night we got in and headed down to the kicthen to make a cuppa tea and by the time i sat on the sofa the bottoms of my feet were dirty. The bed was comfy though, google cast a nice touch and a good location to the shops and underground. I wouldn't recommend anyone i know to stay here and i wont be returning as originally planned before our flight home. At least the rest of our honeymoon trip should be better

Location great, staff terrible. No communication, no assistance, paid for parking and ended up not having a car park space for 1 night. Asked for a 2 hour extension to check out, no options just a charge for $100.00 - even though they other issues we had. Even though they wouldn’t provide ice for drinks (no tray available in fridge, they told me to walk over to the service station and pay for it) No parking on Friday night even though I paid for it, security just said “it’s the way it is mate - can’t move cars not much I can do.) If it was free I would understand - but I paid for it. Not the Meriton apartments I am used too. This was not a good stay.

The place was so convenient with the trains and busses underneath as well as Westfield an easy 5 minute walk to do all our shopping. The suite we had was very spacious and the view was magical.

We loved the studio apartment, everything we needed and such a great location…bit daunting step down into the bedroom and I would recommend a non slip mat in the bath or a grab handle! Overall a pleasant stay!
