Reconsider your budget and look elsewhere
Sadly, after staying here for some time, I am unable to get any response or feedback to my enquiries regarding the "deposit" for the room key. Notably the value of the deposit is below the interest of credit card companies and as such I feel I have lost or had stolen $30 for a key which was returned to the "returned key box" in reception. Granted a minor thing, but the weekly rate for this place kept increasing and for a property without A/C and very limiting facilities which needed maintenance and repair is just dissappointing.

Ideally based accommodation for surfers
Great location for visitors and those seeking a friendlier location than Sydney. Clean, reasonable priced. Limited facilities thus encouraging you to get out.

The location was good but the room was a little tired looking. The lamp was broken, the carpet was melted from someone dropping a hot iron on it in the past and there was no air conditioning (I was sure I had booked a room with aircon). The shower, despite looking like something from a hospital, had the best water pressure ever (so good). There were no lifts to the accommodation level, just a set of stairs - no trouble for me, but other people may find this an issue.

room was very hot during daytime, no AC. Staff was very nice and helpful. Had to climb a high staircase, no elevator, dont suggest it to anyone with problems climbing. :)

Good staff
The night manager was happy to let us in before our check in time. He was kind enough to get us a small cooler because we were surprised the rooms didn’t have any air conditioning. The only thing I didn’t like was it had no elevator only steps. There are 40 steep steps, not good if you have bad knees.

Great location in the heart of Manly. Property old so the overall presentation was poor. No air conditioning so it was unbearable to stay here during peak summer.

We liked the location ans thats it! The family room was filthy, mold everywhere. Dirty curtains and no fly screens. The carpets were stained and the bathroom light didnt work, nor did the bathroom door! After collecting our keys from reception we unpacked our bags (family of 4) and while checking out a map the receptionist knocked at the door. Before i could open it he unlocked the door and walked straight in. He asked if the curtains in the room had a curtain stopped at the end of them. After climbing on the lounge chair in the room with his shoes on he then left. He returned again later that day, again letting himself in our room with his own key. This was a large point of concern me for and my partner because of our 2 small children. I have never in my life stayed in such a disgustingly dirty accomodation. We returned home and told our friends to spread the warning about this filthy place! What a disappointment!

Great location at an affordable price. I was disappointed to find mould all over the wall behind the bed however. Other minor issues were the height difference of flooring - watch not to trip over, and the height of the bathroom vanity was strangely low making it awkward to use.

Location, was just perfect, cost was very affordable. Beds, were comfortable needed to be painted, and the dishes were wet when way came to use them. But enjoy our stay.

The hotel was vile do not stay there The beds for Rusty there was no flat screen and there was a mammoth amount of stairs to climb to get to the actual hotel parking was hideous also

It was a good location, pleasant stay but 3 flights of stairs. I could not take up my suitcase as NO LIFT and NO STAFF from 6 pm till 8.30 am next day

Location is good but certainly not beachside. No air conditioning and the room was extremely hot and stuffy. Bins could have been empty each day in the room or even every second day would have been nice. No wifi so very basic.

We will definitely review our cleaning schedule as each Studio is serviced on daily basis (emptying the bins, refilling coffee, sugar, tea, milk and toilet paper) and our housekeepers are always on standby for any extra requests that may be pointed. Regarding the Wifi connection we have 3 different connections in the building so we are not sure why you were given this information. The staff were kind and helpful but unfortunately there were far too many stairs to make this an ideal place for an older couple with walking issues. It was really not made clear how unsuitable the place was and we felt bad for the staff who did their best to help out by carrying luggage up and down the 38 stairs!

The property could do with a little upgrade ,carpet could do witj being renewed , tv in a bad position to watch compartably , patio doors hard to open and close had to lift it up before sliding it, also curtains and bedding were stained

Thank you for your review. We have been working very hard to improve the building and rooms. Unfortunately you stayed while we were having a new carpet laid in the main corridor. As I'm sure you can understand this would temporarily make the place look untidy while we remove old carpet and laid the new one. Thank you for your understanding.

Tv would turn itself off due to loose connection. Foldout bed was like a hammock. Road noise very loud. No door from main bedroom so no privacy. Secure parking which u pay for the roller door didn’t go down. Rang the day before arriving and someone is suppose to ring u back, never got a call. Overall very disappointing.

Manager was really helpful. The studio apartment accommodated three growing kids, one adult and all our stuff comfortably. The price was incredibly good value for what was offered. I would happily stay here again.

When we got to the property (as an emergency as previous perperty was a no show) rang buzzer and someone answered phne straight away. N was at the property within 2minutes. Its stated there starting renovations on rooms. But there was torn carpet at the top of stairs also a busted shower head spurting water everywhere. Overall was happy with our stay.

Not a nice hotel by the beach
Very disappointed with hotel, mountains of stairs to climb no lift. Room very small and not very clean. Photo pictures on website very deceiving. No air conditioning
