"Cozy older style accommodation. Room very clean and comfortable for a peaceful stay. Very close to public transport, shops and Rushcutters Bay park. A very walkable location. The breakfast box is a nice addition. Would definitely stay again. Considering its close proximity to the busy New South Head Road, the room was very quiet."

"Honestly for accommodation above a pub, Southend is amazing! The rooms are newly renovated, large and super comfortable with their own bathrooms. Staff are so accommodating and we had leak from balcony in our two rooms due to extreme weather and they moved us to new rooms straight away, provided us with free drinks and continually checked on us. The food at the pub below is delicious and the vibe is very warm and friendly! Highly recommend. Area is super close to the beach as well. "
