"This hotel is in a fantastic location and set in a beautiful, historic villa, which adds to its' overall charm. Our first-floor room was quite spacious, though it overlooked an alley and was noisy early in the morning due to kitchen staff.
The service was a highlight of our stay. The front desk staff, breakfast staff, housekeeping, and porters were all excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout.
While the property itself is lovely, the spa amenities were a bit disappointing, as they felt dated and could use some updating. Although we didn’t dine in the restaurant for a full meal, we did enjoy coffee and dessert in the bar, which was a wonderful experience.
One of the best features is the hotel’s private boat dock, which made arrival by water taxi seamless and convenient. They also offer a complimentary boat to Murano, along with access to the original Murano glass factory (located right in Venice), where we were able to watch a master glassblower demonstration—such a unique experience.
Breakfast was included and very good, with plenty of options. We especially appreciated that they prepared a to-go breakfast for us when we had to leave early at 6 a.m.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially for its service, location, and unique amenities."
