"Incredibly unique property that used to be an old herb shop now tastefully refurbished into a boutique hotel. They kept all the old stuff from years past on display, and while it had modern amenities it still maintained that old charm. Highly recommend!"

Something can be improved, the WIFI some sometimes is not working when in the room and no USB plugin on the bedside.

"Albert and his team did a great job hosting me for 2 nights ! Hotel is efficient but also very laid back . It’s an old mansion and some of the public areas do not have AC . Anywhere you would like to me had AC and was comfortable ! Free non- alcoholic drinks and snacks available . Breakfast prepared to order eggs were great ! Lap pool is good location to chill out after a busy day ! Looking forward to returning ! Check my postings I don’t give many 5 star ratings "

"A delightful step back into the charm of traveling in the past. Like Raffles in Singapore, this hotel will bring you back to the time when travel felt like living abroad. Our room was beautiful, a suite opening up onto the garden next to the waters edge. The room is beyond comfortable and quiet, a beautiful experience. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is quiet and spacious. The breakfast is delicious, we had one of the best Nasi Gorengs here.
