We are cyclists from Australia and have been travelling for 5 years. We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was wonderful, comfy beds, lovely sofa to sit on . Super peaceful and the staff very accommodating to all our needs. Especially grateful to being able to safely store our two bicycles which are very valuable to us. Close to a fabulous restaurant too!

I loved staying at the Hotel Roosje van de Kaap - Helpi was so welcoming and super friendly. The hotel has a restaurant but is also close to other dining options. There's also onsite parking - I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Swellendam.

Lovely property. The owner greeted us even though we arrive after 9:00. Breakfast was delicious and in a light and inviting room. The hotel is a cosy collection of older small buildings. Beautifully maintained.

Absolutely gorgeous setting and loved the pool. If you’re traveling the garden route and staying just a night make sure to get there early enough in the day to enjoy the grounds! Also note that not all rooms have A/C. They all come with at least a fan though!

A beautiful Swellendam stop

The room was lovely albeit a bit hot even with a fan, as a result of the weather. The parking is secure and I felt safe in the hotel and other village overall. Room access was through a garden path which while lovely can but a bit hard if you have a wheely case. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. A great spot overall.

We stayed very short time but it’s a wonderful place to stay! The host provided very warm welcome and were very friendly, assisted with some immediate needs we had, parking was behind gates, accommodation was simply wonderful and the property was quiet, charming and meticulously maintained. Didn’t get a chance to use amenities like outdoor gym and pool. Overall, we had very relaxing, enjoyful stay here during our road trip through garden route.

Excelente Hotel

Nydeligt mindre land boutique hotel.

Nydeligt mindre land boutique hotel.
