Perfect weekend getaway spot

We loved staying at this apartment. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there. It was close to The Lost Sea and the downtown area. The property was so pretty and we enjoyed feeding the horses. I would definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing!

Hubs and I visited for Valentine’s Day weekend. This property is stunning!! It was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Not far from some really good restaurants, and step outside to pet the horses and sheep. Lovely stay!

Why pay much more for a hotel when you can get a place like this for less a day. If you have a trailer, boat anything and everything is safe on this property.

Rural dream

We found this getaway close to home, but so far from the traffic and congestion of life. The unspoiled beauty of the area is visible from every direction. From the fresh, clean air, to the beautiful animals, to the sounds of nature alone, this is a perfect retreat from every day life. The room was exceptionally clean and furnished with everything you need. Dave and Wendy were there for any need. Thank you so much.

Relaxing on the Ranch

Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset in the rolling hills of Sweetwater, TN. Property owners were very nice and enjoyed staying in the quiet, clean and comfortable studio apartment beside the stable. Would definitely vacation there again.

Perfect stay! Especially if you have pets to bring.

Couldn’t have asked for more. Property is HUGE, plenty of space to park. Owners are very friendly and are willing to accommodate just about anything. We got a late start to our trip, thus arrived 10 hours later than expected (5AM.) A simple message/phone call to the owners and they left the place open for us. Our dog had a great time on the property. The room did not smell of any pets when we arrived. I would stay again if visiting the area.

Great Host!

We were unable to stay at their location due to a last-minute medical emergency, but our host was thoughtful enough to donate our reservation to a couple in need of a place to stay. Just knowing this makes me want to try again and book with this host, aside from the fact that it looks like it is a relaxing place to stay. Hopefully next time we will have a chance to also enjoy this gem of a place.

Peaceful and scenic stay

The place was just as advertised, and set on a beautiful plot of land. Some farm animals around for you to stare at and eventually they'll warm up to you. I wish I could've done more exploring on the property because it is nice. Will definitely look for this place again in the future. Dave and Wendy were great hosts, and incredibly hospitable. No complaints.

Great place to stay

My wife and I stayed at the stables for 4 nights and were very happy with the stay. The owner is extremely helpful, the place was clean and had literally everything we needed for the stay. We bring a tote on every VRBO stay as there is always something, sometimes many things, you run into needing. We never even cracked it open on this stay. Unfortunately it rained almost the whole time we were there so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked, but getting to see the animals and the little bit we were able to explore was very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

A perfect place to relax!

The entire property was pristine! The accommodations were spotless and perfectly appointed. David was an incredible host who met us at the door at midnight to show us around. He even honored a special request for us. The linens were luxurious, bed super comfortable and kitchenette stocked with everything you could need! We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Beautiful property, Amazing Hosts

Could not have had a more perfect weekend in the mountains. From a personal check in process with Mrs Mary to waking every morning to have coffee (and carrots) with the horses, it was amazing. Clean, fully stocked and beautiful views to boot! Located 1 mile from a winery and The Lost Sea!!! Could not have asked for more!!! Thanks David and Mary for opening up your paradise to us!

I can’t say enough!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely studio VRBO property in Sweetwater, TN, and I cannot recommend it enough! The property was exceptionally clean and situated in a stunning country setting, surrounded by serene views of horses and sheep. The interior was well appointed and beautifully furnished with charming country-style furniture, making it feel both cozy and elegant. Dave, the host, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Sweetwater and will definitely stay here again. It was perfect!

Peaceful

Made a quick trip to see one of my daughters at college. Brought her 6 y/o sister along for the surprise. The property is nestled beautifully is some of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine. The property is quiet at night & the hosts are A+. The horses love to eat out of your hand as well as some of the sheep. My 6y/o gives it her approval & has notified me that we will be going back there.

Off the beaten path, but still convenient

First of all, our hosts couldn't have been more accomodating from meeting us upon arrival to their hospitality and willingness to tell us about the area. They let me pet all the animals which i loved. The place is out in the country, but only 5 minutes from the nearest Walmart. It was the best of everything. Thanks Wendy and David for a great stay!

Ah the farm life! Land, animals and a comfy, cozy getaway!

The setting is rural idyllic - quiet and scenic. The studio was spotless, the bed comfy, and the hosts friendly. It's well appointed with TV and Wifi, frig and microwave, hot plate and electric skillet, washer and dryer. Quality furnishings and some essential for kitchen and bath supplied. We use to own a farm in the neighboring town and this was a perfect spot for us to settle in and still be close to visit friends and the new owner of our farm. It's definitely on our list for repeat visits.

Awesome!

David met us when we arrived. Showed us the place. It was wonderful. He said let him know if we needed anything. The space was perfect for us and our husky. Kitchen area along with the living room was superb. They also had washer and dryer. We saw horses, cows, dogs, and sheep. It was very quiet and you could see all the stars at night. Will stay there again, when we are back in the area.

Equestrian Getaway

Honestly this was probably the best rental we've stayed at. The pictures dont do it justice. This was clean, exactly as described, cozy , comfortable and perfect size for my wife and I , the shower was a little tight but no complaints. We spent the weekend here and went to Lost sea. And drove to Chattanooga on Saturday evening for a boat ride on the Tennessee River..the location was perfect, on the farm with rolling hills and nice views. Spoke with David and made us feel right at home. My wife loved getting up in the morning and going out the back door right in to the stable and visiting with the horses. Definitely will be returning as this did not disappoint!

Home away from home!

From the moment we arrived at this darling little ranch in Tennessee, we knew we were in for a treat. The cleanliness was impeccable, making us feel right at home. The decor was thoughtfully chosen, blending rustic charm with modern comfort in a way that made every corner of the space inviting. There bed is comfy and there is a full kitchen stocked with all necessities. We really enjoyed coffee every morning and tea in the evening.But the highlight was definitely the well-cared-for animals. Interacting with them was not only a joy but also a testament to how much love and care goes into maintaining this property. I also use a track system for my horses at home so this was a treat to see! The sheep were fun and friendly as well.We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. This place is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle for some peace, surrounded by nature and friendly farm animals. Highly recommended for animal lovers, or anyone who appreciates a clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated space. We'll definitely be back!

What a great place! We felt relaxed as soon as we got there. David gave us recommendations for local places to visit and eat.This location is centrally located to all the places we planned to visit. The home had everything we needed to live and eat there. We enjoyed feeding the horses apples.
