Clean, recently (last decade it appears) remodel is a clean moderm, Western/Texas theme (photos at headboard). Good water pressure and hot water. Nice to have a ceiling fan. Nice blackout curtains. Polite and considerate Indian lady checked us in very efficiently. Breakfast was choice of cereals, small yogurts, bagels, wrapped Danish/cinnamon roll (hostess?), think there were frozen waffles (didn't try). Lobby a Seems to have been largely unchanged from the Texas/American theme of previous owners. That's fine, motels should have local flavor. Beds were comfortable, but a bit firmer than I prefer, but certainly within range of a normal hotel mattress. These mattresses may even be better quality than a normal motel mattress, just firm to me. I would, and probably will, stay here again.

I'm a picky traveler and generally stay at hotels with room service and a concierge, but I couldn't resist after reading other reviews for this place. Don't let the exterior fool you! This place is clean, comfortable and quiet. It delivers what the more expensive hotels promise: a good night's sleep. The rooms are renovated, And although they still have a "motel" feel, I was impressed with just how comfortable it was. If you're passing through and need a place, skip the Hampton and stay here. You won't regret it

Rough outside but room nice

I was hesitant about staying here looking at it from the parking lot but went ahead based on a friends recommendation. Glad I did. A little dated on the outside but room itself was very nice, clean, and very quiet. Check in and out was easy and quick. Friendly staff. Phenomenal price. Would stay here again.
