Welcome to our Swansboro coastal house - The Thomas Prichard House (circa 1910), a lovingly renovated historic home created by Donna and her son, John. We restored the home with the goal of preserving its character while giving guests the comfort and quality of a boutique retreat.

- The Main Level & Kitchen
Living Area:
The main level has a bright, open-concept living area with comfortable seating, an electric fireplace, and a large Smart TV. The living room flows directly into the custom kitchen, making it easy for everyone to gather while meals are being prepared.

Gourmet Kitchen: The gourmet kitchen is completely new and features a dramatic waterfall island with three bar stools, custom cabinetry, a wood range hood, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, herringbone tile, brass details, and new appliances. Right by the window, a sunlit breakfast nook with two chairs brings the total dining seating to five within this bright, open-concept space.

Fully Stocked: It is fully stocked with quality cookware, high-end pots and pans, premium flatware and silverware, cooking utensils, serving pieces, dishes, glassware, mugs, bakeware, a premium knife set, cutting boards, and the everyday essentials needed to cook and serve a proper meal.

- Coffee Station:
Enjoy coffee at the kitchen island, the intimate breakfast table, or on one of the porches. A dedicated coffee station is located beside the laundry area and is stocked to make mornings easy.

- The Bedrooms & Bonus Spaces
Primary Suite:
The spacious primary suite is designed as a true retreat, with a California king bed, premium bedding, a fireplace, a Smart TV, beautiful natural light, and access to the upper porch.

Second Bedroom:
The second bedroom is equally inviting, with a comfortable queen bed, Smart TV, dresser, and carefully chosen coastal details.

Third Bedroom:
Game room by day, cozy bedroom by night! Enjoy board games, a chess table, and a mini-fridge. The twin bed and a folded pack-and-play crib are stored just next door in the Bedroom 2 closet for a quick evening setup.

Convenient Extras:
The home also includes a practical mudroom with hooks and baskets, a full laundry room, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a digital QR-code house guide with helpful information about the home and area.

A washer, dryer, laundry detergent, iron, and ironing board are provided for your convenience. A baby gate and pack-and-play are also available for families traveling with little ones.

- The Bathrooms
The spa-inspired bathroom is one of the home's signature features. It includes a freestanding tub with massage jets, a high-end bidet toilet, custom vanity, designer lighting, and premium fixtures. To elevate your stay, we provide two premium luxury bath towels alongside a full set of quality bath towels, plush robes, and cozy slippers. A hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also supplied.

Powder Room:
A stylish main-floor powder room provides additional convenience.

- Outdoor Living, Location & Layout

Porches & Patio:
Relax on the front porch in the rocking chairs and enjoy a water view from downstairs, unwind on the upper porch, or gather under the covered rear patio.

Exterior pathway lights are installed in front of the house to illuminate the entrance and front walkway at night safely.

The Backyard:
The backyard is divided between the two units by a fence down the middle, giving Unit A its own spacious designated portion of the yard. While the side perimeters are open rather than fully enclosed, guests can comfortably enjoy their private outdoor seating, a barbecue grill, and a pizza maker/oven for casual meals and memorable evenings. Bright exterior pathway lights are also installed to ensure the outdoor spaces and walkways are safely illuminated at night.

Beach Ready:
Complimentary beach towels and 2 beach chairs are provided for your trips to nearby Emerald Isle Beach.

Property Layout:
This historic property is split vertically into two separate units. The main front entrance leads into a shared entryway with two private interior doors, clearly labeled A and B.

Your rental is Apartment A, located on the right side of the house. Your private apartment, porches, parking area, and fenced backyard area are all located on the right side of the property.

The two apartments have separate private entrances, allowing you to enjoy your own private living space while staying in a beautiful historic home in the heart of Swansboro.

Parking:
One complimentary off-street parking space is provided for Apartment A on the front right side of the house.

- Downtown Swansboro & Waterfront
One of the best features of staying here is the location.

The waterfront and Downtown Swansboro are approximately a block away, making it easy to walk to the waterfront, marinas, restaurants, shops, and local attractions.

Kayak rentals are also available approximately a 2-minute drive from the home.

From the downstairs front porch, you can also enjoy a water view while relaxing in the rocking chairs.

- Perfect for Military Families
We are located approximately 18 miles from Camp Lejeune and approximately 30 miles from MCAS Cherry Point, making our home a convenient base for families visiting for military graduations, homecomings, weekend visits, or time with loved ones.

- One complimentary off-street parking space is provided on the right side of the house for Apartment A.
- The two units share a common exterior entryway, but each has its own private entrance door labeled A or B.
- The porches and fenced backyard area described above are designated for Apartment A on the right side of the property.

- Smart TVs are provided; guests should sign into their own streaming accounts.

- Swansboro Visitors Center & Tours
The local visitors center is right down the street. It is a helpful place to stop by if you want to grab some maps, learn about the town's history, or sign up for a guided walking tour of the historic district.

- Downtown Swansboro's Annual Festivals:

- The Swansboro Mullet Festival
Held in mid-October, Swansboro's biggest annual event closes down the historic streets right down the block. It features a kickoff parade, live music, and over 100 food and craft vendors celebrating the town's coastal heritage.

- Arts by the Sea Festival
Held in June, this popular summer festival fills the downtown streets and waterfront with regional fine art, pottery, handmade jewelry, live music, and other local attractions.

-Swansboro Christmas Flotilla
Held the Friday after Thanksgiving, this beautiful holiday tradition brings guests to the downtown waterfront to watch a parade of heavily decorated, brightly lit boats cruise past on the waterway.
