Peaceful, friendly, charming home stay

This historic farmhouse in a beautiful forest/garden setting is a charming place to experience authentic Danish landscapes and culture. The real gift of this place is the owners, Kirsten and Egon Nielsen, who are amazing hosts who made the stay comfortable, welcoming, and pleasant in so many ways! We will be back!

Aalborg Country Retreat

We had family to visit in Aalborg and Svenstrup was close enough to meet up and also be able to relax in the quiet countryside. The property is full of greenery and was such a nice retreat for us after our busy time in Billund. If you appreciate history and authentic Danish farm style this is the place for you! Our hosts were so helpful with places to see and answered any questions quickly. We would return in a heartbeat.

Rural Denmark at its most delightful!

Kirsten and Egon were wonderful hosts, quite literally at back an call in a warm and supportive manne. They home, now an adequately modernized traditional farm house in quite rural surroundings portrays well, in location, architecture, and content, traditional rural life without shortchanging expectations of an upscale residence in terms of kitchen,, living and Bedroom comforts. Bravo to the couple for this welcome home to Denmark for our vacation from the USA.

Superbe maison de vacances !

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Propriétaires très accueillants et avenant. Cependant, nous avons été surprises de devoir payer l'électricité et le fuel en + de la location. Cela n'était pas indiqué dans la réservation ainsi que le terrain non clôturé (indiqué que oui sur Abritel). Nous pensions que l'électricité et le fuel étaient compris dans le prix de la location. Nous avons appris cela 2 jours avant de repartir. Il faudrait le préciser pour éviter les surprises. A part ça, un super séjour dans un magnifique parc entretenu a la perfection. Endroits très fleurie et accueillant. Je recommande. LenpisHormis cela, un voyage au top !

Sommerurlaub in Nordjütland / Sommerferie i Nordjylland

Egon und Kisten sind sehr nett und haben uns die ganze Zeit sehr gut betreut. Sie haben uns nach der Anreise wertvolle Tips für Ausflüge gegeben, von denen wir vieles durchführen konnten. Außerdem gaben sie uns ein Glas Honig und Wasser für die ersten Tage. Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen, um sehr schnell an die Ostsee und Nordsee zu gelangen. Das Grundstück ist top gepflegt und groß, also ideal, um mit Kindern anzureisen. Wenn wir wieder mal Lust auf Dänemark und die Dänen mit ihrer „hyggeligen“ Lebenseinstellung haben, dann werden wir wieder bei Egon und Kisten vorbeikommen. Egon og Kisten er meget søde og passede os meget godt hele tiden. Efter vores ankomst gav de os værdifulde tips til udflugter, hvoraf mange var i stand til at gøre. De gav os også en krukke honning og vand til de første par dage. Huset er rigtig godt placeret til at komme til Østersøen og Vesterhavet meget hurtigt. Ejendommen er velholdt og stor, så ideel til rejser med børn. Hvis vi får lyst til at tage tilbage til Danmark og danskerne med deres "hyggelige" livsholdning, så kigger vi forbi Egon og Kisten igen.

Einfach schön und gemütlich

Das Haus befindet sich auf einem grossen Grundstück, das mit viel Liebe gepflegt wird. Unsere Kids konnten dich frei bewegen, Spielplatz befindet sich gegenüber vom Haus. Das Hsus ist gut und praktisch ausgestattet. Es bietet ausreichend Platz. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell erreichbar: Skagen ca. 1 Stunde, Oceanium in Hirtshals ca. 50 min. Aalborg mit Zoo in 15 min. Kirsten & Egon sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ruhige Unterkunft in zentraler Lage für Nord DK

Gemütliche Unterkunft in zentraler Lage zur Erkundung des Nordens. Nord- und Ostsee sind leicht zu erreichen, der Limfjord ist nahe und sehr zu empfehlen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und geben gerne Tipps. Außergewöhnlich schöner Garten direkt am Haus mit spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder.

Schönes Haus

Es handelt sich hier um ein schönes altes Haus, umgeben von einer liebevoll eingerichteten kleinen Außenanlage. Relativ ruhig und etwas abseits gelegen und dennoch ist man in kürzester Zeit in Svenstrup oder Aalborg. Svenstrup ist ideal gelegen um das nördliche Jütland zu erkunden.
